  1. Also, done a huge drive this weekend, saw one dead badger ( thankfully) whereas several would have been more expected. Bees down, definately with oilseed in full bloom, but weather shite for them. K
  2. Yer, always think planting trees is a good idea πŸ˜‰ i just must like trees or summat πŸ€” K
  3. Cable bracing would be good if it were further off ground, but fence off at collapse point possibly planting a couple or three trees there to further guide away walkers, so if it collapses it can be left. K
  4. Also remmember that is feeding the tree with that portion of the canopy, can see why they chose this, good conundrum. K

  15. Bethnal Green mulberry tree saved by campaigners WWW.BBC.CO.UK The tree in east London was to have been dug up to make way for 291 residential units.
  16. Without a good clear shot of base of tree/s would still say use a porous loose material for pathways, any compacted areas can be loosened by specialist, clear root flare at base clear so any fungal bracket appearance there will give you a heads up on possible trunk decay. K
  17. Dont forget you will have to take care of their root area also, soil compaction can ruin a tree just as easily as poor pruning. K
  18. Well, yes, was my first thought on a burnt band- but then, wot the hell do i know abt milling πŸ˜† K
  19. Bet it gets nicked by saturdays shift ( we use sleepers) K
