  13. Well you have had two professionals look at the tree , advising removal - unless you want to retain the tree , which it doesnt sound like you do . Go with that- but contact yr house insurer before hand in case they have concerns . IF it were my tree and the root penetration was minor roots I would trench against the pipe , but if its supporting roots that need to be cut or covering the pipe - I would remove the tree ... if it were mine . K
