  8. Was in jest - bought a McCulloch blower last year, much better than the rake of crappy old Stihl blowers have used in the past, and it does look Husqvy parts. K
  9. Possible language barrier there, Chippy. K

  16. Good effort 😊 K
  17. Hardy tree ( they grow in water) could be phytopthera but doubt it. K
  18. Give them a hand. Vipers bugloss and Trefoil seeds are cheap on ebay, i always throw a handful in various verges and bees love them. K
  19. Well, back to matter in hand. It looks like some sort of raised bed / border, soil looks compacted. My A. palmatum still has flowers ( which bees are active on) and seeds attached so if pic is current, tree is suffering. Knowing Soil type could be useful and larger ( further back) pic of tree crown. K
  20. No no, @chris at eden, i meant the opposition to such development can involve such, but a better approach is good field diaries, trap cameras to log badger activity, walking night surveys on bat foraging or roosting and involving local schools in nature visits to keep a presence on the site. Which often garners faster support if a planning proposal goes in ( wine n netflix stopped play ☺️) K
  21. ( wouldn't have just been planting onions neither)
  22. Was gonna point that out Kev, so thankyou ( odd but true, possibly hang over post war intiative to accelerate rebuilding) if i lived near that plot i would have been more active in its use and management, K
  23. @Chris at eden after the Sheffield STAG and HS2 activists, i think i am being conservative in my comments here. K
  24. ( some tearful small children pointing, pics, - on Facebook will work wonders)
  25. Then entice some Badgers in, dig a pond n throw some GC Newts in and yr done 😉 K
