Yr lungs do react to this, and yr nose n windpipe filter much out, but we lived in arid dusty plains for millions of years, so am not sure we are all gonna suffer just yet. Talc is horrific tho. K

You should get one, Sam, practise yr pruning cuts. Once yr in harness, it good way to get yrself settled - reaching out in a tree. K

My biggest concern after 30+ yrs on the saws n ropes is mentorship, the right company will have you streaking away, gaining cash and skill as you go, the wrong company will have you bogged down in tedious rubbish jobs. Whilst yr energy and enthusiasm are at a peak- that is the time to get everything gathered together. K

As @Rough Hewn, yr instructor will suss yr abilities and dont get downhearted if you fvvk up a bit, once those tickets passed, the real learning begins. Fingers crossed you land a knowledgeable crew you can draw skills n knowledge from ( OR get a job with Glendales ?) K
