  3. I brought my self a Nice old stihl 070 Always want a big old lump of a saw like the 070 so why the cash was there thought I would spend it :thumbup:

Nearly everything can be milled mate even if the tree was 500yards from a road and u only have a small gate to go through It just a Q of how long it will take to mill And as for the size if u have a big enough bar on a Alaskan mill u can mill 72inch wide boards witch makes ur bit of timber look small
  9. The other thing mate is if u no how to mig weld stick with mig I use mig for most things I can arc weld just find the mig better at finishing and better at fine work What u welding mate If u got cast iron then arc
  10. Mig Matty up to 4mm U can weld with arc under 3mm but easier with a mig or tig welder Arc is mainly for big welds Look at the draper range they seam to be ok
  11. got cut up into rings :blushing: i managed to get 3 5-6ft lengths out for milling when did u do a welly mate see if i can sort the vid out over the next week i spent to long editing clips

  20. iv got a winch for it rob but ent had time to sort it out :blushing: and after them big planks yesterday next time I go milling im going to fit it :lol: my wrists hurt today ok matty give me a week or so and I will come pick the 2 bits of cherry up when I go see ur mate across the road is that the elm bur u was telling me about a year ago sound intreating
