  2. IF YOU HAD A CREWCAB YOU COULD BE 6 DOGS i still would,nt have a crew cab. now if they built a muppet cab then that would be different my cabs always full of muppets!!! had one in it today, called bob!!!
  3. can i come, need a good laugth! he he!!!!!
  4. Spoken like a true employer and not an employee I Reckon that you probably loose less than about 100kg by the time youve added the extra seats but deducted the extra weight of the body etc. With some decent lightweight sides you can easily get 5-6 cube in the back. My cabstar has 3 seats so therefore seats 3 men. a little squahed admittedley. my argument was that i was't going to buy a crew cab to have 3 empty seats. the space can be put to better use!
  5. ive just priced some ally sheets 8x4 £60-£80 per sheet depending on thickness alli welding is also dammed exspensive. if you want owt doin give me a ring i know a chap that works out of his garage and is very reasoable very good aswell:icon14::wave:

  7. thats a pruning hatch for those over hanging road side limbs! who needs a mewp!
  8. i think that payload is more important than 3 extra seats for one extra man to be comfortable, if ajob requires more men it will probably require more vehicals so then i would just bring another team onboard. equipment goes in the back!
  9. i remember when we were on that sort of wage pete and that was 10 years ago:scared: my advice would be to look for another job i would expect to pay a groundie £60 per day and provide his gear!
  10. if you want to run an 18" bar and buy a stihl then go for the 341, the 260 is realy only good for a 13-15" you probably wont notice any difference between the 260 and the 280, i run a 260 with a 13" bar good power and nicely balanced.
