  15. i was always told that to season wood you need to season it outside for 12mths and dry it out undercover for 12mths. i have my own thoughts on this!!
  16. Have been working on a RSPB reserve this week, where the sycamores have been ring barked to produce habitats, many are in the later stages of decay and are begining to shed limbs. This is in an area where members of the public are activly encouraged to go. They seem to get away with this as its a nature reserve:confused1:

    our health

i enjoy going to work 99% of the time, the nature of our work is that its physically demanding if my bodies nackered at the end of my working carrier well im happy to just live with that. if they wrap us up in cotton wool, will we still look back and say how much we enjoy our work. i thought that us tree fellas were made of stearner stuff. anyway how can we show our manliness if we havn't got the ailments to prove it?!!!!
  24. The chain in question is a Xtra Guard (X) chamfer chisel Chain type 91p reduced kickback chain guage .050" (1.3mm) the letters simply represent cutter type and sequence, safety features,or other physical traits of the chain if the chainsaw is a small low powered machine i would try and replace the chain like for like as th chain is designed for machines upto 41cc and bars up to 16inch in length
  25. i went out a while back with a lad from the pub, before we got to the end of the road his dog had got out of its box and managed to get into the ferret box. before i could get to them his dog had done 2 of my ferrets. i suppose it was half my fault as i just took it for granted that his dog was steady. i hav'nt taken him along since tho.
