  1. Tha moderator will reduse the muzzle crack, you probably won't notice much different but it will make a difference down range.
  2. I would rather have 150g bullet from a .270 when its blowing a gale and pissing down with rain and you've been crawling over spagnum moss for the last hour to get a shot. Not only will it drop the beast but its less suseptable to weather conditions than the lighter bullets fron .22 CF. I like my .22-250 for foxs and crows but id rather have the .243 when popping deer.
  3. I use an ASE ULTRA Jet-Z Compact from Jacksons Rifles. I can strongly recomend one they are far better than the T8 in both build and quality.
  4. and there was me thinking you'd bought a new house in a picture postcard place called anchor points!!!!
  5. i would recomend one of these, remington 1100 leaves your shoulder in tact if you do alot of shooting. This is my work gun gets used every day and is totally abused and the only time it lets me down is when the action is that dry it just wont function, it gets a quick spray of oil and hey presto!!
  6. this is my foxing rifle, styer mannlicher ssg police .22-250 also has a taste for long range crows:sneaky2:
  7. forget air-rifles get your ticket and buy a .243 deffinatly no good for rabbits though!!!

  22. well done mate!!! are you going for the snip now?
  23. like you thinking there!!!!
  24. Thats it!! I will never offer to work for family members again!!! I was asked to do some work (for basically beer tokens) for one of the family, so i (stupidly) agreed. I said that i would fit them when i could. A week went by and then they started ringing asking when i would be coming, no rush they kept saying, then they rang again, so I said i will fit you when i get a spare day, Ok no rush they said! Another week went by and i get another phone call from mum, when are going to do that job? They are wanting it doing. No rush they said!! Now im getting ear ache from two directions. Then i get a call from my grandma when you going to do that job? No rush they said, now im getting ear ache from 3 directions. So i have now rung all concerned told them that i now, don't work for family. Paying customers that put food on the table and pay the morgage come first!!!! Family or not!!!!! They would have got the job done if they had been patient, now they can get somone else to do it!!! And will have to pay top money!!
