  1. Thanks for that Tree Beard, might just give that a go.....just seems sad letting it go - has never let me down

  9. both hands....the left thumb should be around the handle, not over it...and thumb throttling with the right hand wasnt needed there...only advised for felling
  10. Thought so.....ice road trucking.....or topping Redwoods???
  11. the exhaust might be blocked, i had this trouble on a hedgecutter last year....similar problem to yourself
  12. so nearly £300 per day for gardening??!!!
  13. the hairy legs!! and the tree felling lads need a turning strap:001_smile:
  14. Maybe you wanna be a bit more careful....never had any trouble with any of my Huskys, have a ms340 and 660 which have both had their troubles
  15. i did say some...i give my phone bills to accountant she deals with it:001_cool:
  16. Im unsure on that, i have 2 landline numbers on mine as i have a business partner, we just use both our home numbers, you can still use some of your home phone bill against your tax this way
  17. also, you could use a skip chain to run longer bars when needed on the smaller two saws
  18. if you need 36" then get a 3120 or 88, but surely there isnt many trees that you couldnt do with a 30" on a 395/066 and then just put a 36" on the few times when needed....the 395/66 will outcut the other two saws with a 30" bar, much lighter and cheaper
  19. The spare wheel cover looks superb...although it is always a good sign if you have a landline phone number as well as a mobile, then it doesnt make it look like you're a pikey if you see what im saying. People trust a landline, also many old people dont like calling mobiles....just from my personal experience
  20. I love my 357...... even the mrs is jealous of the orange love:001_tt1:
  21. have been thinking of getting one myself for a while now. Yours looks good, like the top banner. The gallery looks a bit sparse though, as if you are a newbie with only the small Eucalyptus take down... nice pics anyway...And maybe it might be a little more helpful where you listed what you do (crown lifting etc) if you described what these tasks involved so the general public understand as they arent all tree experts.... Looks good anyway mate, hope you dont mind me commenting:cool1:
  22. or, how about..... ARBTALK - where no-one mentions lopping, topping or popping Cherries:001_tt1:
