  1. you would think some of the firemen/women would be trained to use a chainsaw in life saving curcumstances until someone else can get in and clear up the mess once they have done what they needed to do.

  4. is the cambum saver like haveing ur ancor point at the very top of the tree then having to prussik back up and by about half way u knackered?
  5. take your time and think about what hes saying to you. and when u get to the cross cutting stuff just remember ur stance saw at side and head out the way. try and relax and enjoy it i passed anyone can pass
  6. ah the good old job at cathcart. i dont mind the railway work but hate the fence line clearences of ivy and brambles pain in the arse.

  8. i was talking about outside work. slasher i dunno cause i aint seen everyone climb yet im not too sure how old or new they are mate. think they have been on the go for a while tho.
  9. ive noticed that they spike everything and anything. so i should invest in a throw bag then i was thinking about getting one but wasnt sure if it would be worth it.
  10. ian leach - yup your right i am a bit rusty at climbing but im not planning on doing it tomorrow or anything ill be doing a lot of extra climbing over the next few month so im prob looking at the summer before i start plus theres puttin up adverts and then the phone calls coming in plus ill be climbing at work as well as my weekend outings

  15. ive not climbed since june well other than a few times but it was nothing to big and i was out on sat with 1 of the boys i went to college with. anyway my throwing has went right down hill is there a limit to the number of times you should try for the 1 branch? and is there any pointers yous can give me to get back into the swing of things? please
  16. hey guys im now working for a company doing rail clearence but that really has nothing to do with what im asking. Ive been thinking about getting myself a few homers here and there but i have got really no idea where to start. so if you could give me some pointers if poss cheers
  17. well it was a cold wind today then it started raining then snowed and to top off a great job of railway clearence the chipper broke down so not long in the door
  18. well i think im might be in the market for a new phone now as well and after looking about on ebay and a few online phone shops the jcb tough phone looks like the one for me.

  20. the mustang would be my dream car but like its already been said fuel tax and the rest of the tax the gov would apply would be nuts. wonder how much it would cost to put road tax on 1 in this country?
