  1. after being paid off im thinking about it. the money they makes is pretty good and there work load is maybe 2 jobs per town? i could handle that

  3. SWB did you happen to notice where the bit of blue rope coming from nar the tree was going its in the 3rd pic. wonder what is facial expression would be like on the top bit of ladder?

  6. hey all have been thinking about getting a pick up and have been wondering if i can get a secure box for the load bay to keep my kit in, it needs to be big enough to fit 2 chainsaws and climbing kit in plus all other stuff that comes with useing chainsaws and poss hedge cutters, does anyone have any idea where i can get such a thing? cheers
  7. im not really sure how my opinion will go down here but here goes, i think a tree surgeon is someone who has cs 30, 31, 38 and 39 and 5 years experience and an arborist is all of above with at a good few more years experience
  8. well im not working just now so im out most days but still can get comfortable coming back in the branch while tightening my prussik
  9. when you tie in you have your anchor point and you can do a branch walk with 1 line or use two lines ie another anchor point and use your other prussik. i lost marks on my climbing test because i didnt uses two anchor point when doing my branch walk.
  10. when you guys do branch walking and ive tied in to you anchor point, do you go out the branch with the one prussik or two? my point on this is i am able to go out with one prussik or two but when it comes to going back in i struggle with keeping my balance and using my prussik at the same time. is there any advise you can give me to make this process any easier? i look forward to the help i get since any help ive had in the past has been great. cheers

  14. glad to hear you got them back mate, its a step in the right direction for the old bill.
  15. go for it mate, went through college with a 42 year old and im sure he wouldnt mind me telling you at the start of the course he was banging on about how he wouldnt be able to climb to the top of the trees and so on and so forth now hes climbing job. and is quite happy. so its worth doing mate. go for it

  19. hey all, ive been asked to trim some trees to let more light into their garden but im not sure if it would be better to wait until there is leaves on them so i can see what im needing to take off or can i do it just now? cheers

  23. ah i see. well ive used 341s and i was quite happy with them so i thought may as well get something im happy using and like.
