  1. Why not? Mine is hired out quite a lot and takes a lot of punishment. Bullet proof. Customers always comment on how impressed they are with it.
  2. Also check out the Wallenstein range of log splitters.
  3. Bill helped me out yesterday (at short notice). He just gets on with the job, top bloke, highly recommended! Thanks again Bill.
  4. Andrew, If you know the part number try Mister-Solutions Ltd-We are a on line supplier of Spares & Accessories. type the part number into their search function or just give them a call. Recently bought some spares for my Kombi System and were half the price of anywhere else. Next day delivery too.
  5. If dulux dog hasn't sorted you out then feel free to give me a call. Cheers, Greg
  6. Hi Paul, just hire my services instead :-)
  7. As above, Clarks bio chain oil.
  8. Hi John, what make/model of turbine have you gone for? I'm looking to install a 50kw Endurance turbine costing just over £260,000 installed & commissioned so I would be really interested in a 250kw turbine at £600,000. Cheers, Greg
  9. I'm interested - can you keep me informed please. Cheers, Greg

    Job Needed

Hi Craig, welcome to the forum! I can't offer anything at the moment but can you pm/email your contact details for future reference as I'm only up the road from you. Cheers.
  11. The plastic shrink wrap over the writing isn't part of the splice but keep the information on the label for identification, traceability / certificate of conformity. As already stated above, don't touch the whipping.
  12. As above, less is more.
  13. Agree with Nick's comments above. I've got the WX640 and its hired out quite a lot. No build problem here.
  14. I think you will be very lucky to hire a 6" road tow with operator for £150 a day. I have 2 local tree surgeons who hire me in about 3 to 4 days a month for £200 per day and they just add my price to the job.
  15. I've decided to purchase an Art Ropeguide :-) If you have one, did you opt for the 150cm length or 300cm? Many thanks.
  16. Hi Andi, I'm still around :-) Just been a bit busy. Hope all is well at your end. Did you get that stump grinding job in Nantwich? I put myself forward but didn't get a call. See you soon.
  17. It's a scam, don't respond. HMRC never send emails like this. If you are due a refund or they wish to contact you for some reason then it will be by snail mail. I've also had the American version saying that the IRS wanted to send me a refund LOL.
  18. Can you send your contact details - pm or via my website below. Can't promise anything but I may have something for you in the near future. Cheers.
  19. The non Vat company can't claim the vat back on purchases but does this really matter? Basic rate tax is the same as the vat rate. Ok, vat can't be claimed back quarterly but the total purchase expense is claimed in the annual accounts and therefore gets it back at the year end via income tax relief.
  20. It's a 34 page magazine so can't really post it on here. Discussions include: Heating the Home Pellets v Chips Briquettes Stoves / Boilers Dealing with Moisture Marketing Woodfuel Firewood Processing and other subjects. I found it to be an interesting read as I'm looking to install a log fired boiler / accumulator tank but not a lot I didn't already know.
  21. Welcome to the forum Carpeteer. Let us know how you get on with it after you've put the new mill through its paces. What power unit are you going to use, petrol or electric?
  22. I never got a response to my question from the seller.
