  1. Yes and leave a hole 10 ft across and diseased woodchip all over and leave you with a big beer belly Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  2. Get on the bus or be left behind. Has has been said, it's the way things are moving forward. I can now run a business from anywhere and contact anyone in the world from anywhere in the world. I remember my nan whinging about those fang dangle video machines. Batteries will improve as technology improves, you can't have it all the next day (-; Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  3. I hope your gonna wash your hands Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  4. Winching out stumps gets more of it out and you just price accordingly. If they asked and would pay, I,d dig it out with a teaspoon, who cares as long as the money is there
  5. Take it to an Apple store and have it sorted, they,ll probably do it for free. Daughter went twice and they just handed her a new phone each time
  6. Another way of looking at things is the speed China is rising from the dark ages due to the demands of the west. They will have an uprising sooner than they would otherwise of had.
  7. It will be ground out, as soon as I saw it I knew we were wasting our time digging
  8. Part of the spec on this job was to take down this 5-6" stemmed conifer and remove stump. What a shocker when we dug down and exposed the root 5:1 didn't touch it so doubled it to 10:1 and cut through a 6" dia root buttress and it still only bent the stem. It was as if someone had concreted it in. I've seen some weird rootballs but this was a beauty. Pass the stump grinder !
  9. Haha.. Blummin iPads, My last post should obviously read "Bedfords" not "Bedfordshire"
  10. Holy cow batman Must be some gaff you got there ?
  11. The Bedfordshire are ok but have a reputation for throwing you through the windscreen on first application of the brakes on a cold morning. I spent five years of working on them daily.
  12. About 9 to 10 inch wingspan I reckon, haven't got a clue what make or model it was though
  13. Today we were raking the lawn on a job we were doing trimming hedges, the weather was really warm this morning and there was a lot of insects in the air. Next thing, this little bat came flying into the garden and started feasting, flying really low and within 3 feet of us at times. He hung around for about three minutes and i managed to get some footage, he then turned and flew in a bang straight line across the little field next door to a stable where he was obviously roosting This is the first time I have ever seen a bat feeding in bright daylight, what a treat [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CmAlmYRClI]Bat feeding in broad daylight on insect we disturbed whilst raking the lawn - YouTube[/ame]
  14. Try watering them as a cheap first treatment. We had a dry summer last year and a lot suffered as a result, a leaky hose irrigation system solves it most of the time Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  15. Machinery damaging long established ground cover would be my worry. Me and the gamekeeper work as a very close team and we have at least 3 work days a year when all the beaters and guns come in and graft, the last thing we want is machinery coming in and wrecking important habitat for both the wildlife and game Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  16. Which unit covers cambium saver installation
  17. If I recall correctly, I had an husqvarna that kept snapping exhaust bolts, it was happening because the aluminium exhaust gasket was missing. Once the gasket was replaced, it never happened again. Just check the dealer put the gasket back
  18. When I use my mates TW, I am always jealous of the chip quality and speed of feed. If TW made a more robust 150 with a wider throat and the same chip action ( ie, blades taking half a cut each ) I would get shut of the Bandit and get one no worries. But this 750kg tow weight thing is killing the robustness of many chippers
  19. Can,t see any mirrored shades in there either
  20. I,m shoot captain on a 3500 acre estate and on windy days I have to decide which drives we do and avoid woodland drives on such days. Large woodland is impossible to make safe and common sense should prevail If a shoot captain allows drives within a woodland on gusty days then he,s a "plonker Rodney " However, public footpaths are reasonably easy to maintain provided the public stick to them.
