  1. As far as I know, any saturated fat is bad fat.
  2. Look at the "per 100g" fat contents, especailly the saturated fat one is tescos healthy range pumpkin seed, the other seabrook crisps (yum)
  3. You will have scratched the lens of your eye, hence the blurred vision. The lens is like skin, it renews or sheds its outer layer so in a couple of days your blurred vision will have gone. But it is really painful, yours eyes water and snot pours out your nose, but you'll live Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  4. There's nowt more demoralising than hitting a nail straight after putting a new chain on Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  5. Looking at that tree, it's screaming out that it's full of nails, hence the reason I have a metal detector behind my land rover seat for when I do the quoting, a quick run round with the metal detector can make a vast difference to the price Get tha sen a hand held metal detector for quoting and cutting up
  6. I think I might have bought the bigger one and pushed it out with some fat wooden doweling
  7. You were lucky you didn't start a riot. Last time I worked a Sunday, I got that much grief of the residents I swore I would never do another, nearly ended up chinning one bloke and would have done if I wasn't up the tree ontop of a 20ft wall
  8. Here we go, expensive but worth it. This size uses the standard silicone gun whereas the bigger one needs an applicator gun specifically for this tube http://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-polyester-resin-175ml/53359
  9. I bought some from screw fix to fix in some gate hinges into a stone gate post. I was going to lead them in but decided to try resin instead. Boy does it work well, it has a 14 ft gate hung on it and it is solid, I reckon stronger than leading it in. I,ll see if I can recognise which one I used and let you know
  10. Rich is right.... We as tree workers already burn massive amounts of calories, all we need to do really is cut out the crap we eat and reduce the calorie intake. Problem is, the body uses sugar as an energy source before it uses fat. So if you are eating lots of sugary things and fat, the body will use the sugar and store the fat. Cut out the sugar and you will burn the fat. The other problem is fat is slow release, so you will feel lethargic and wasted and feel as if you need a sugar hit, just resist it and power on
  11. I just cut sugar out of my tea and stopped eating crap, the only excercise I have been doing is squats and holding in the squat position to increase my stamina for skiing. Apparently this burns massive amounts of calories because of the large muscle groups involved Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  12. I looked into these for my yard and gave up, they're either too expensive or like hens teeth second hand Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  13. Price has shot up lately ( xcuse the pun ) I think cos of raw material prices but that price is ok Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  14. Good stuff Nev Been nice to have sat and watched that job Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  15. Ps I would like to know what excercises to do to get back into proportion Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  16. I have lost two stone recently and was shocked at just how out of proportion a tree mans body is. I have super strong arms and back but very weak chest, stomach and legs ? I used to have a cracking set of boobs (-: Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  17. I think putting pressure on vulnerable people to have unnecessary over priced work done should be the focus here, whether you have qualifications or not. I lose a lot of work being honest and sometimes wonder whether being dishonest is the only way you get anywhere nowadays Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  18. Only if they have an hangover and I dont Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  19. Tbh I had a very similar attitude towards the iPhone. Simply because I'm not one for following the crowd, I like to be different. It wasn't till the journey home after jonesies show last year when stevie showed me his and ran me through what it could do. I'm glad he did Sent from my iPhone cos it was
  20. This thread isn't about 3 foot stumps mate, your off on one
  21. Your good...assessing a conifer with no branches If I can get the landy winch to a hedge I always price to pull out the hedge, not grind it. I always show consideration for the chappy coming in next to put in the fence poles, it makes his life easier and the customer likes considerate people. Pulling the rootball gets most of the fibrous root out too. I'm just an all round considerate guy, unlike you with your big, noisy, polluting, window busting, root grinding, thingemy jig, machine
  22. Pubs???? You ain't been on the morphine again have you Andy ? Sent from my iPhone cos it was
