  3. For cash he can change your name to Mary Littlebottom if you like
  4. If that were the case then don't do the renting game.. I personally would rent a property myself until their tenancy was up. Treat others as you would like to be treat
  5. Bandits ugly ?? To an Engineer, where all the turney movey bits are in full view and not hidden, it,s raw beauty, bit like a top model with no makeup or clothes on? The reason I don't like Vermeer is exactly that reason, they look very plasticky and boat like
  6. Education education education Youth have no idea how long things such has that have been around or the importance of it. If you told them to write on a slip of paper how old they thought it was, I can guarantee you would get answers such a 10 years? 20 years? You would ale are a good teacher David and think you are missing your vocation in life, you should be touring the local schools doing presentations and educating them before they turn into lumps of knife carrying pork
  7. Billy, that's not an HD chassis, if it was, you wouldn't see a weld seam running along the top. So you will be down to a 3050kg gross and that box looks heavy, it has also had the rear member of the chassis redone
  8. Will be there all day Monday Justin, just got to get past all the gangs in the docklands to the exhibition centre front door innit! We got VIP tickets
  9. I noticed that, you,ve even got them to carry the gutting knife too
  10. Last trip was really to sus out if there was any pigeon shooting to be had down there David, left mi guns at home though, for fear of looking out of place, I needn't have worried, apparently lots of people in London have guns
  11. Londoners couldn't get enough of me last time so I thought I,d nip down and pay them another visit. Last visit was fun and a total eye opener for me. I was a bit like crocodile Dundee Dundee last time, saying morning to people for them to look at you gone out, telling people to move along the bus on the tube, losing my daughter on the tube. I,m more prepared this time, I have Sussed out the tube system and figured out that people don't like to speak to each other in London and don't say "morning" and stuff to each other and that you can't delay anyone because they are in a rush to get to work Last trip was hilarious, I,m going to visit the docklands to see first had the gang culture, I'll be stopping dockside and visiting the grand designs exhibition
  12. You may need to order a few string vests and wife beater cuts Steve, some right rough uns on here. Fruit of the loom last the course, I had some for five years, latest t shirts only lasted six month
  13. Rupe, when you,ve done send it to me to blow up will you ?
  14. It doesn't now, I swapped it for the loader, now NFU won't cover the loader and Trust had problems getting cover for it without it being silly money and having to register it and all that silly stuff. All I want is to cover it for theft and to cover me driving on the road the short distance to my yard and the occasional roadside job
  15. It's a bit of old scraggy rope.....so what ?
  16. My vehicle and tractor insurance is with the bury st Edmunds office My PL EL was with the Elland office
  17. Planning is responsible for a lot of the "need" to prune trees Far too much housing passed in close proximity to trees.
  18. I was under the impression serial numbers were enough
  19. Robert, remind me, where you from again ? I'm hoping they refund mate, if not it will have to go to court
  20. Thanks Jessica, it,s in my diary to ring you
  21. Just reinstating this old thread to show what the NFU is capable of if not checked up on. I originally had PL with the NFU, when I rang ( the OP of this thread) it was to add employers liability to my existing policy which was due for renewal in a few weeks time from then. I was then given a quote and payment methods for the quote at £128.02 per month, they then told me about the height restrictions etc. I told them it was totally unsuitable for me as a tree surgeon so told them I would not be bothering and would not renew, then went and phoned trust. I got a letter a month later with the quote and spec for PL and EL and payment plan etc, I ignored it has I hadn't taken it out and had already been with trust for a month. Two years down the line (yesterday) I notice a payment, which I thought was for my landrover of £128.02 coming out of my bank on direct debit. They have only been taking payments for two years without me realising for a policy which I didn't take out !! I,ve been down and shown them my trust policy from the last two years and they said they don't know whether they can refund it as its the underwriter that will have to refund, the amount is going to be £3072 Apparently, with all NFU insurance, if you don't cancel, it rolls on and on If there weren,t rules on this forum I,d blow my top Also down £450 from not working today Why is it always me
  22. The main reason I want it registering is for ID purposes, easier to give a reg number that has all the details logged with DVLA to the police than a serial number that isnt
  23. I did know they weren't your chippers mate Hence the reason I mentioned the blades, I hired a few machines to see how they performed before i bought a new one and got really pee,d off with companies telling me they had just put brand new blades in that day after I ask if the blades are sharp, only to find when they are bolloxed when I got the machine to site
