  1. I bought it from some rogue from Manchester Rob who is often seen frequenting stalybridge
  2. I have 2 gallon of Tordon 22k which i think is perfect for spraying the blighters whilst not affecting the grass. Does anyone know the mixing ratio for knapsack
  3. For ground retractable throwline, I was going to attach a multiplying sea fishing reel to a big shot pole
  4. Then google currywurst mit pommes und mayo, awesome!
  5. I was in a doctors carpark yesterday pricing a job and this old bloke came flying in in his car, with disability badge, straight into a disabled bay and leapt out as if he were an 18 year old. He made me look like a clapped out old man. Deffo this disability thing needs sorting, i,m more in need than some of the scratters that are on it (-:
  6. Very similar, but you are right, they are a heavy lump to manoeuvre about. If I were to buy a mower, weight would be the main buying point Heavy stuff no problem as long as its dry
  7. I treated it today with this. Felt really good
  8. I was going to show our lass this thread for the link but she may get suspicious now
  9. Spot on mate, thanks After reading your link it makes sense, the blisters get really bad when out in the sun and weep badly, today I have covered myself in factor 30 and they are nowhere near as bad Just need to hunt them down and eradicate them carefully, what's the best way, just inject with glyphosate?
  10. Just looked at pictures of that and can't recall seeing any unless it was some baby ones
  11. About a week ago I was mowing and strimming on a job then came home and did a bit in my wood. That night my neck was itching and in the morning I had puss blisters all over the front of my neck and jaw. At first I thought it was a piece of ivy that touched my neck but it has been suggested today that it would more likely be a result of strimming certain weeds and getting the spattering of sap from them. What sort of weeds cause this and this is a week and a half on.
  12. Cheers teepeeat, very helpful post, I'm planning on using a remote log boiler to heat possibly three homes
  13. I take it that is that renewable heat incentive Dave or RHI ?
  14. Mine pulls 3.5 t with about 6 cube of chip two passengers and tackle illegally with ease
  15. Getting it from the boundary to the cabins will be dead easy
  16. I,d like to see a hilux pull 3.5t whilst loaded to the nuts
  17. That's what's worrying me, it would kill off the idea from the start
  18. I was told that the tanks are very efficient so shouldn't cost anymore than if you were just using the boiler alone as all they are doing is storing your domestic hot water ?? The solar panels are expensive though from what I have seen ? I reckon by the time you have paid for a large log burner, solar panel, and accumulator, it would take a fair bit of time to get back the money in savings if you were having to pay for your wood
  19. First stage, sent off for estimate to get electric onto site, there is none anywhere near, so this could be the first obstacle if it's a rediculous quote. Going to have a look at one being built in Chester on thursday by the firm I am going to get to supply the log homes, he is then going to give me a rough idea of cost based on my sketches
  20. I would imagine it has been detuned until the run in period is complete and needs retuning
  21. Anyone had experience of this type of system ? Log boiler running under floor heating and hot water via accumulator tank with solar panel to pre heat accumulator tank water for the gas boiler to finish off in summer Is there a better system ? Only fault I can see is accumulator needs to be a lot bigger Accumulator hot water tanks - heat stores UK
  22. I noticed the first groundy was on his toes, good man ! But the second groundy was oblivious to what had happened ...bless him
  23. One in the mewp knuckle and one in the fire pile
