  1. Problem is, what do you use at home. What I am saying is if you get things stolen from home and they take your honda mower or hedge trimmers or strimmer or anything you have bought for home use but bought it in your business name, its not covered. Even if you do not use it for work. When you actually read the small print your covered for very little. As for business insurance you try getting a quote after you've been hit 6 times in 7 week. I,m trying to spread out the claims between my insurances otherwise its a bit embarrasing
  2. I laughed even before the video started
  3. He will have been hunting the mice that I evicted from the Hilux Chassis. They are MITAS 31x15.50x15 Al
  4. Just tried to put in a claim for tools stolen from home through my house and contents. Because I,m a tree surgeon and my hedge trimmers etc were bought in my business name, they won't cover them. I argued that I haven't got any other hedge trimmers for doing my hedges only stihl and buy everything through my business name to put through the books. For them to cover the claim I would have to provide purchase receipts in my own name and not as da lofthouse tree surgery. Just another get out loophole to beware of chaps Insurance is More Than, underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance
  5. very gentle on grass with the right tyres, I regularly use mine on golf courses
  6. I dont trust any loler inspector........thats why I do all my own checking and servicing. Its my life thats at stake.
  7. I bought a ripper while I was there too and loaded it with the machine you demoed. Do you think it would have performed the same as the avant if it had the same wheels and tyres ?
  8. How did my grab perform on the Multione
  9. Going down to Multione uk again tomorrow morning to pick up a 1.5m wide HD grab and a Ripper. I,ll have a play with the 10.8 if its still there, I do know they have been demo'ing it all week all over the country so hopefully its there to play with. I do think in the hands of Steve Hadfield, that Multione machines will become very well known in the UK. Multione has had a presence over here but has not been pushed by the previous dealers. Steve is making good headway in getting a very good machine out there and as well known as Avant. I keep looking at the Avants but I just don't like them over the CSF.
  10. I try to avoid spring pruning as I find it results in more growth compared to autumn pruning
  11. Here,s my trainee engineer inspecting the innards. For stability, I fill my tyres with water and antifreeze. A totally different animal, but they are rather big tyres and will give some ballast. the second pic is it tipped over till the load touched the floor, the machine was actually wanting to come back down onto its wheels, it still wasn't anywhere near its centre of gravity.
  12. Rebore, bigger piston and a turbo fitted
  13. Sorry Shane, just got the 8hp version.
  14. I've got a few Honda engines kind king about Shane, I'll have a look when I'm home
  15. I could eat beetroot till I were red in't face
  16. Towing isn't a problem, reversing it up sloping drives might be without a low box. I would never have a truck without it in my area
  17. That is a big problem, if there is more than one of them you are on a loser. I have just been through all this with my step father and step brother trying to stitch me up after my mother died 6 month ago. My step father's tried to attack me. I let it go but then a week later I got arrested for criminal damage and assault. They had made a right cocktail and bull story. It even got to court and ended up being thrown out. I ended up losing my guns and am still battling to get them back. Just be careful what you do and try to record everything. I pointed my car dash cam at the yard when I went down but have found in the confusion it was running.
  18. They only got away with things I don't use regularly so have been ok but thanks I appreciate the offer. I have been battling planning for 18 months or more now to get a steel shed put up. There's already the equivalent in roof space of a 40ft x 30ft shed. I put in planning for a 60ft x 40ft which they refused , it went to appeal, I emphasised how many times I have been targeted, danger to life, the fact that I'd spent 50k bringing my yard from a flytipping dump, to a beautiful wildlife friendly woodland meadow etc etc but the harm to greenbelt argument won over and I lost. I've just emailed them telling them to put all the recent crime numbers on my planning file. I'm selling my house and moving into my yard bullocks to them. Don't think that'll go down too well for me in planning !
  19. Thank you Gary much appreciated
  20. Believe it or not Mick, the area is very low crime rate. Well it was before I moved in (-: I think the problem is...once they have found you they will target you where ever you are. I know this same crew has targeted me 5 or 6 times now. The more catch them the less they will be inclined to come back. Guns were involved the first time they came. I electrocuted them the second time. Third time I caught them and they scarpered. Fourth time they got my truck. Fifth time I got their truck. Hopefully one day they will get killed by someone they are robbing and all my problems will stop
  21. Seconded, Barry did the same for me with advice, he's a thoroughly genuine chap
