I need about 2000 for a hedge so thought I'd make a start Haven't got a clue so we'll see what happens. Some I cut from new green shoots with a tiny bit of brown bark, others from hard brown stem. The hard brown stem cuttings I made a few score marks in the bark, cut the bottom off at an acute angle and dipped in rooting powder after soaking in water. I also have experimented by potting a load with no rooting powder and putting them straight into 4 year old composted chip to see what happens If some of these take I'll see which ones then do the rest of the cuttings I need next year Any tips or critisism welcome

I had the screech noise on one with 100 hours on. When you grease a timberwolf roller, the grease travels to the bearing/bush on the grease nipple side then through a hole in the middle of the roller to the bush/bearing on the other side. You have to make sure you pump enough grease in and make sure the grease reaches the far bearing. You can tell it's gone through because when you start pumping grease in, the grease will first push the roller away from the brease nipple side, then when it reaches the other bearing it will force the roller back again toward the grease nipple, couple of pumps more and your there Sometimes, if it isn't greased regularly the grease hardens a little and it's hard getting it right through. I had the bottom roller out on a new TW and couldn't find the screeching problem, however, when I cleaned the hole through the shaft out and blasted it with grease it dissappeared The mis-alignment (if the bearings/bushes are ok) sounds like the bit of play in the securing bolt holes.

Yes it's the safest way I took the dash out of my Landcruiser and that has airbags everywhere, I must have unplugged a thousand plugs, but everything worked when I put it all back together and connected the battery

I took on a lad and voluntarily put him into college. He does 1 week a month at college over an 18 month period and comes out with every ticket The college will come out and assess you Health and Safety wise, accident book, service record book, look at all your equipment to make sure you are loler, cossh and riddor compliant etc etc Right down to having a fire extinguisher in the motor and one in the workshop You have to pay him I think £95 and set him on the books properly, I have got mine down as £120 and working three days a week. You'll have to have a H&S policy etc etc Its all a pain in the butt at first but over the last 12 months I am getting there and it makes me wonder how bad "I" was paper work wise Everything seems quite easy now it's just getting everything in place to start with

That looks the fella, there's no problems with it setting off if you unplug it which will disable it the only problem you may encounter is that your engine management light or Airbag service light may come on This is what happened to the chap I know whilst getting a locked out motorist into her car using a slim jim door slider he accidently cut into the door airbag wires which set off the air bag, it shot the thin metal unlocking tool up under his chin and it exited out the top of his head http://www.snopes.com/autos/hazards/slimjim.asp

All dogs should be under the direct control of the owner at all times, any dogs consistently roaming the street should be taken away from the owner and given to someone more responsible

I would unplug the bag direclty, as for the tensioner, removing the danger of the airbag to the child far outweighs the benefits of a bit of pre-tension. Be careful when dealing with airbags, I know a chap that was killed by one

I have very very very few casualties Tony. I have even been known to dismantle trees without disturbing flowers underneath. Imust admit though, this time it was just pure laziness on my part. This customer actually tipped me £20 for 3 hours work. I told him he shouldn't but he expressed how profesional I'd been and it made a change to have someone pruning his trees that actually knew what they were doing and did an excellent job
