  1. That's what I meant Rupe only my strop is rather long, about 10m more of a second line!
  2. Ben you won't regret it! Takes a while to make the switch but the energy it saves is well worth it!
  3. once you make the change you won't regret it! I love mine and I think the lower D rings make it very comfy as they are weight bearing as opposed to the high side rings that should only be used for a strop.
  4. Log tomorrow!!!! If i finish early i might convince Tom to come and give you a hand!

I run my 395 with a 36" bar and it grunts!
  6. Merc all day long! I have one and it's great! 54 plate, 76k on the clock pulls like a train, restricted by Merc to 62mph so the engine has not been thrashed!
  7. Every penny counts! Don't know how it would be monitored but I think it could be done.
  8. I gave a load of these to Steve to Raffle off last year. I could probably get some more if recipients are willing to donate to Help 4 Heros?
  9. lenser H7, nothing compares to it!
  10. I thought about trying a dime bar on my 200, not sure if it would be good or not?
  11. Ian, try this: top helical to a unicender, unicender direct to bridge. For long ascents a floating croll with a bungee to the unicender with a foot loop of the croll. A simple tiny snap crab on the bungee. When doing long ascents throw your lanyard over your shoulder and clip in to the unicender and will make it self tend. On the foot a pantin.
  12. Do you mean connections to the srt line? I am backing up my unicender at the moment with a helical as I think it helps with the transition from dry to srt! I also use a floating croll with a foot loop ata he'd to a bungee for long ascents. Hope this helps
  13. Fixed mine today! I am going to fit a 20 amp push start as suggested earlier, just waiting for the supplier to source me a square one to fit in the blank on the ignition panel.
  14. Paul, you been working in Steptoes yard!
  15. Thanks! Annoying that you have to do it though!
  16. That sounds like a good idea! Was it easy to fit?
  17. Today I had a crap day! Whilst dismantling a horse chestnut I looked down to see smoke billowing from my chipper. When I opened it I could not see any damage to the belts or radiator but when I touched the starter motor I burnt my hand! It had only been running a couple of minutes including warm up. The ignition must have stuck on engaging the motor. The Jensen dealer is sending a new one and it should arrive tomorrow morning. Not happy although I am not paying for it but I could still have down time! Any body else had this problem.
  18. Marks Hall arboretum have got about 80 of them and they are doing fine!
  19. NPTC website will give you the information.
  20. Try this! Where's the path ? Very good.
