  1. Cheers Frank, to be honest I’m just building a portfolio and getting to know the drivers at the moment. There must be half a dozen professional photographers at each race meeting, all competing against each other (I’m just happy to be able to wonder round the track taking snap shots and practicing the panning technique). If you want anything just give me your e-mail and you can have what you want, no charge for a fellow brother.
  2. Best of British to you! Wish I had the balls to make the leap, come the end of June I might not have any choice in the matter….
  3. Yes mate, point taken – unfortunately the 12-24 lens doesn’t accept filters of any description, but thanks anyway.
  4. As said previously I’d have a competition, 12 months of the year, 12 photos; that’ll be 12 calendars sold – guaranteed!
  5. Good idea! You could also incorporate a photo related competition as well…?
  6. I'm with you there, the money is better off in your pocket than someone else's!
  7. Nice site mate, I like your approach and love your honesty – well done!
  8. They have them all over the country my friend, have a look here....Top 12 Run Off One more of the Veyron..
  9. A few pics from Sundays meeting at Prescott Hill Climb. The meeting was entitled ‘La vie en bleu’ – A celebration of French motorsport.
  10. Lovely pics mate and nice use of the fish-eye. Let me know when and I’ll make you famous! (no charge)
  11. I’d invest in some nice Oakleys, job done.
  12. That’s one hell of a garden and was a lovely tree. What was the reason for the removal?
  13. Tiz a good honest thread this, with good vibes – hell it’s inspired me to go out and commit some awful felling cuts, nice one!
  14. …just what comes from having a bad-back, bend over and a comfortable angle, put the gob-in, back-cut, then drop to my knees, two slices, job done.
  15. I always fell mine at a ‘comfortable height’, think it comes from being old and decrepit.
  16. We had a Champion Tree here in Worcester, a Malus – It got chopped down in order to make way for road improvements (not be me you understand).
  17. Good post Andy, esp. ‘we are all responsible for our and others health and safety’. I take that aspect of the job so so seriously and often get infuriated when I see others cut corners. Sadly the nature of the job dictates that there will always be accidents, especially with such a varied human input but we can all minimise the chances surely?
  18. Lovely job Simon! Let us know what you think of the Hobbs as I’ve been contemplating a purchase myself. Lovely pics as well, would have loved to have been there!
  19. Nice job Rupe. I’ve done a fair few Birch reductions in years gone-by and they have all served their purpose , i.e. the punters have been happy and the trees have been retained, always better that option 2 – Fell to Ground Level.
  20. Tiz a very thick crown, I'll say that!
