  1. Same tree, a year later (this was about 5pm when most of the cars had left). The example is a little extreme, but should have been picked up in a risk assessment, not worried about the Micra but could easily have been a family having a picnic under that tree.
  2. No mate, I dont... I gave each one my card afterwards and said the pics will be up on the forum, so hopefully they’ll come on and have a peek.
  3. My feet were firmly on the ground guys – I was using a 70 – 300 mm zoom lens. I’ll sort a few more pics out…
  4. Thought I’d create a place so we have a visual record for the 2010 Show – I’ll start off with a few from my good-self, mainly from Fridays climbing competition….
  5. It’ll be good to meet you to Paul (although we’ve met on several occasions already). I know its too late now but – WHY OH WHY didn’t you seek feed back earlier?? The comment made today were ALL made the day after last years show and were here to look at and take note…
  6. Keep an eye open for local authorities Brodie.
  7. Don’t give it a miss, make the effort and go for it – Loads of stuff to look at and if you do need some kit you may get a bargain!
  8. Haha, I bet Paul will choke on his over cooked, over priced hot-dog when he reads that one!
  9. Myself and Matt are going (I'm the pretty one)
  10. I thought that as well Andy, there have been several ‘AA Arb Show’ threads knocking about for a fair while, all have more or less the same feed-back. I fear tomorrow morning will be greeted with cans of over-priced beer and rip-off food and we have not been listened to.
  11. In an ideal world it would be lovely to have a bar area for Arbtalk members (much like Capel as we practically took it over anyway). Have the Arbtalk stand and banners close-by – what better way to meet and greet existing and potential new members…
  12. Morning Paul, you’ll find plenty of constructive feed-back from previous shows in past threads. Capel is an excellent little show with a good friendly atmosphere and a proper bar. Last year we all enjoyed Capel and were looking forward too much of the same from the AA Show, only to be greeted by tins of warm larger and cider at vastly inflated prices. We’re not all drunken alcoholics you understand, it would just be nice to have a meet-up, have a chat, drink proper beer and not be ripped off.
  13. Mate, don’t be gutted – that lens is one of, if not THE best quality optic they have ever produced (you just have to pick and choose your composure). I'm building a collection of glass anyway...i'll just buy another one if needs be.
  14. Try not to use the old Photoshop but very handy now and again! The first image is virgin and in my opinion the sky is too bright and takes the emphasis off the Bugatti. In the second pic I’ve darkened the sky down a little and hopefully put the car back into the centre of the picture.
  15. I’ll retract my last post then!
  16. Sorry Frank, I was being lazy earlier and didn’t read the whole thread. You’re right as well – involving members is a key issue – could have a big effect on potential sales.
  17. Lovely! Lets hope it stays that way.
  18. This is the lens I’m using, when I bought it there were no filter adaptors available but the excellent reviews the lens received compensated for this. If you can find a system I’ll be in your debt mate! Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G ED AF-S
  19. Hadn’t really thought of that one Mick, I might do a few open 10 & 25’s though – would be interesting how they come out….might even be a few pretty ladies in skin-suits!
