  1. Very very good.
  2. That's the same visor we sell only we do it cheaper. Peltor Mesh visor for Stein helmets | F R Jones and Son
  3. You don't need to be a qualified climber to be a LOLER inspector, but you will need a good knowledge of equipment and how it works together to get through the course.
  4. Not sure what you mean, is what all I needed?
  5. Class 1 protection is 20 metres per second Class 2 protection is 24 metres per second Basically a chain runs at a said speed measured in metres per second and the above is tested to stop a saw at the speed stated. Working out your chain speed is a whole lot different as it depends on a whole manner of things. It did get covered here. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/24720-stihl-261-max-chain-speed.html Hope this helps.
  6. As per the photo I'm OK to check Arb equipment, I would presume other industries would be the same for their equipment. I can't and wouldn't LOLER anything I didn't know anything about and I would hope it's the same all round.
  7. They have stopped making them now, you would be an XL. I have a few pairs left at a silly price on the clearance section of our website, I've put the link below for you. Cheers, Justin. Stretch-Air Gladiator chainsaw trousers Type A (class 1) while stocks last | F R Jones and Son

A big thank you to Mike for all he done for us and hope to still see him in the future.
  9. Sorry mate think I put something else in then changed it and never re read through it. Made me laugh anyway.
  10. Hi Dave I've got a recon one of these coming through in the next few weeks if your interested, It will be fully serviced and ready to go. One downside is it will need to be collected as it's to big to be put on a pallet. Only want £800.00 + VAT for it as I need the space. If your interested I'll let you know. Its called a Cub Cadet RBH1200, 48 inch cut direct collect, 22 hp. solid alloy deck.
  11. You can check out both specs here. If you came into our shop or rang us we would say Lawnflite Pro every time. Stronger, less down time, much much less plastic. If you need one we keep both in stock and can be with you the following day. Hayter Harrier 56 (566) 22" cut self propelled Pro roller rotary mower | F R Jones and Son Lawnflite Pro 21" cut 553HRS-PRO self propelled roller rotary mower | F R Jones and Son
  12. There are many thing to go alongside a chainsaw shop, but this is the last thing I would have thought of. Gives me hope if it all goes a bit quiet.
  13. Hi Stevie May not be much help, but in the shop there is always so much going on I can't help but listen to all the conversations going on, this is fine until I need to do something I need to concentrate on. If I cut out all the noise I'm fine but otherwise a 10 minute job becomes a 30 minute job, I may look like a numpty but you can quite often see me in the shop wearing a pair on ear defenders, keeps me focused on what I'm doing. Also for memory I'm going to send you a book I read, I think you will find it interesting and you won't forget things after you start using the techniques. Don't think of it as a Magic book as that might put you off it's more about how he can perform tricks using memory.
  14. I want one. Cheers Tom that was a good find.
  15. £15 for the bowl.
  16. Cheers all, it's nice to read the feed back. And just so you know we do have a washing machine at work so if you need your trousers done it's not a problem.
  17. They are in Kent, just done my LOLER course there, excellent place, with accommodation if needed. Kingswood Training | Lantra & NPTC approved Tree Surgery Training - Home | Kingswood Training | Lantra & NPTC approved Tree Surgery Training
  18. Thanks for all the donations so far, we have had donations from abroad and from all over the uk, we are doing well and should be over £500.00 after this weekend. If you can spare a fiver go to our website home page and you can donate from there. Once again thanks Justin
  19. Aye:001_smile:
  20. Hi guys thanks for your support, you can send a cheque and credit card over the phone is no problem either. There have been some very generous donations so far and hopefully this thread will keep it going. Once again thanks for your support.
  21. Well I had a break today no PMs to answer. Felt weird without the Arbtalk tab open. Don't let it happen again.
  22. Sad news, RIP.
  23. I think Josh has settled down, think this might be a keeper. Tart :001_tt2:
  24. Is this sad that a dealer has 3000 posts, or is it just me that's sad. Well I've got to say I've made a lot of good friends here (and a lot of new customers!) and had a good few drinking sessions and camps with a few of you. This place is a great source of info and knowledge sharing - long may it continue. Thanks to Steve and all the Mods for running a great site and making my life busier then I ever thought possible
  25. Thanks for the donations so far, keep them coming guys and girls, even had money sent in from abroad. Fatal chainsaw accident fund contribution | F R Jones and Son
