  2. Job opportunity for maybe an ex-climber or groundie, we need someone that knows the gear and can run around all day dealing with customers, packing boxes, taking orders, placing orders basically the same is me. A little computer knowledge will help. This would be a full time position Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm and every other Saturday 9 -12. We like to have a bit of a laugh to get us through the day, so if your up for a bit of banter your the right person. You will need to be able to deal with being thrown from one job to another and handle working under a bit of pressure. PM me or give us a bell if you want to pop down and see if it's for you, I understand it may be a bit different from what you may have been doing and I have no problem in you coming down and just watching or joining if for a day to see if it's for you.
  3. I have it on good approval they are good especially when used with this. Impregnating waterproofing spray | F R Jones and Son Not just a sales gimmick from me the new stein one has been tested with the above.
  4. Yeah but there are also cheaper chainsaws out there, but would you run your company on a Spear and Jackson chainsaw. Differance in quality = differance in price.
  5. It's so maneuverable and can take so much weight, we are going to use one as a rope rack for all the drums of rope in the shop, also it shows off trolleys capabilities in the shop.
  6. £369 + VAT Trolleys | F R Jones and Son
  7. Hi Mate I've not got one left to check the handle, I'm sure the one we assembled in the shop was solid. I'll check it out and either me or someone will come back to you.

    Sleep.

Good shout I have a pad and pen next to the bed, as my brain is on the go all the time as soon as I write it down I can switch off and come back to it later. Saying that I only need 5-6 hours a night, guess I'm just lucky.
  9. How come their is no XXL, you sizeist pig.
  10. Chris has got a bed on the bar again.
  11. £80 for the shooting, I've never been hunting before. Will that be a problem ?
  12. I do agree to a degree. But unfortunately its other people that have moved the goalposts, MS362 and the new 201T are having to change because of emission laws, I'm sure Stihl would have liked to keep the 200T for ever. As for trousers well we dealers have been well stitched up there by the railways, first comes must wear orange Class 1 Type C so we put £20K + on the shelf. Then probably the same person has now decided that they have to be Class 2 Type C. So all the manufactures are now forced by some numpty in an office to go and redesign a pair of trousers that will be to hot to work in. Now all the old orange trousers are being sold off at silly prices. And you lot are having to pay through the roof for a pair of trousers that you didn't want in the first place. Don't forget you can still buy the thick old ones from 10 years ago they are still made and we still keep them on the shelf. Price is under £100 a pair, for a solid bomb proof pair of trousers. This is not a rant at anyone just letting you know the facts from the dealer side.
  13. Yes mat it doesn't come with the clear visor but it an extra
  14. Kind of we ave the new vents in now but only in yellow and I think orange, the rest of them should be soon
  15. Agreed on the zips Mark, but it's not just the Stretch Airs we had 2 pairs of Hi flex back today with the zips gone, as well as other makes zips. I think you guys use your fly to much when out on the job. I know you're bored of the R & D thing, but I know every time they change the trouser design, even if only slight, it costs them around the 10K mark to get it through all the testing. As things change and materials improve (not zips:001_tongue:) they will bring out more new trousers with the same ongoing costs. You guys need to tell them to stop and you're happy with what's there and the cost might start to drop - but you know as well as I do, you and me are always looking for the next best thing.
  16. I think it's 1 1/2 high and 1/2 low. If that don't work ring us early before the phones go mental and ask Mick.
  17. It will be leaving tomorrow Tom, packed by my very own self.
  18. Cheers all, come and see me at the next show as I'll have a few beers under the table for you all. It is mental busy at the moment and we are having a few problems with some items being out of stock with the manufactures at the moment, I think people are starting to spend again and it's caught them a bit of guard. For those of you with 10 man first aid kits on order they should be the end of this week, Stein rucksack kit bags are still a couple of weeks away. Any one need a MS660 I have 3 left and Stihl have run out of them (not sure how long for, might only be a week or two) I also have 1 Stein trolley left and then they are on a 6-8 week lead time. Hopefully we have 1 new member of staff starting in the next 10 days to help with the influx of work.:001_smile:
  19. Congratulations to all.

  23. I know the website crap, but they do a good job on the stuff. They did all the Arbtalk charity tees we had done for the children's trust.
  24. We can do them for £5.00 per chain for you.
  25. Hi Mike We use ABC shirts in Blackheath, if you get them done by her we can always post them out to you with your next order. ABC Shirts
