  1. That’s what I thought. I ordered from Swazi NZ. When I put in the delivery address (London) it almost halved in price. Probably something to do with local taxes and they can’t charge VAT. With delivery it was 180 quid and arrived in 7 days. I only wear it on the wettest of days but I bought it in 2017 before I moved to Norway. I have washed and reproofed it a couple of times but still does the job.
  2. That’s the one. Even has hi vis strips for roadside compliance.
  3. Swazi karona.

  5. No machinery today…. Only manpower. Half the tree crapped itself as it split in two and took out the power line and went into a stream. That was a while back. Today we had to rig down the still standing side. Cable and a couple of outbuilding to avoid so we rigged everything back into the woodland.

  7. If you have at it and something goes wrong and you pull a line down. Fell everything else that could have potentially hit the cable before you call the supplier. Speaking from experience (kind off).

  14. My first bit of advice is to quit using the term ‘Sub out’. You won’t be a Bonafide Sub contractor but if you use those terms, companies you work with will say that you need your own insurance. Insurance companies will gladly take the money from you for your subbing activities. Might as well send the money to me. You would have more chance of a payout than from the company who sold it to you. Use the term Freelance climber or Contract climber. There are countless threads in here explaining the difference between a bonafide Sub Contractor and Freelance labour who provide their own tools. Good luck.
  15. I’ll take that. Wordle 1,169 2/6 🟩🟨⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  16. Went to the rifle range this evening. I shipped over an Anschutz .17hmr which I was having problems with. Turns out I had a matching .22 LR in the UK and the RFD shipped the wrong bolt. Hence my problems. Took it to a Gunsmith here in Norway who machines out the bolt. But I haven’t managed to fire it yet. Went to the range tonight to check zero and it’s fires, chambers rounds and eject empty shells fine. Twiddled a few knobs and happy with the result. 100m prone. Ist was with Hornady Vmax and 2nd pic was with Norma. Pulled the last shot which messed the grouping, but I was prone and my back was hurting from a hard day cutting.
  17. BTW way. I am never gonna be a champion shooter on the clays. Always have been better at shooting feathers. My old man was a very good shooter and have had lessons from him and pros when I was younger. It’s all out the window as the usual tips don’t work. I guess I worked it out over practice. I was at the clay ground last night. Best score is 21/25 on the Trap format. Last night was under 20 but I defo hit more than I miss 😜. Maybe I could be eligible for the ParaOlympic teams or does cross over eye dominance not count as a real disability? 😜
  18. I am a leftie shooter and right eye dominant. i just squint the right eye a bit. works for me.

  20. Removed all of the back weight over power cables the day before then left the rigging line up high. Still back leaning and they installed a new insulated cable after we left. Winch in the chipper and assist by the 360. 01b599ae-f8c0-41b5-8342-77772cd210e9.mov

  23. It was in Forestry Journal. Essential Arb. How an English tree surgeon made it big in Norway WWW.FORESTRYJOURNAL.CO.UK English tree surgeon Richard Rule has taken his skills abroad to Norway, where he has been sharing his wealth...
