  1. KISS. Nicely done Tim.
  2. Thanks mate.
  3. A few of the contractors I wrk for are having exactly the same troubles. One even had a face to face with the head of dept. it really doesn't help when they say they're busy and your trying to run a business.
  4. That's fair enough mate. I train Muay Thai 2-3 times a week and climb 5 or 6 days a week. Carbs make me feel bloated and sluggish. I feel a lot better with less of them in my life. Saying that I am not strictly paleo but try to avoid bread, spuds and have pasta maybe once a week.
  5. Basically you will be very lucky to get through. They are useless and still dealing with enquiries from October last year. The have such a backlog that tree surgeons are getting a bit annoyed, they go back to the customers who then try and get hold of Bromley and then doubles the workloads. That is why they are not answering the phone.
  6. It's all about the looks mate. Many people have endured hardships of cake temptation in an effort to look good! Keep up the good work soldier.
  7. They work well in the tree. Surprisingly tough and pretty hard to open the spring is that tight. I edit it just with the free gopro software mate. Thanks.
  8. Rj'd 2 decent sized London plane trees. I last did the tree 6 years ago. Spec was back to previous. Rich
  9. Yeah mate still lovin the BDB. Used it today for 2 decent size London Plane rj's. Spec was back to previous. I had rj's these trees 6 years ago. Worked a treat especially with a haas type ascender and pantin. The guys on site hadn't seen single line work before let alone a BDB. It was definitely a lot easier than it was last time. Rich
  10. I know but I hate the geckos and would have to buy the KK spike and they are bloody expensive.
  11. Pantin and spikes for me... Only coz I have Bashlins and they don't do them... Boo-hoo!
  12. Thanks mate. I clamped the camera using this [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00F19Q2R0/ref=pd_aw_sim_ph_29?refRID=14RRSB41FD9JZR1Q8GXP]GoPro Jaws Flexible Clamp Mount:Amazon.co.uk:Camera & Photo@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61diYRnyiLL.@@AMEPARAM@@61diYRnyiLL[/ame]
  13. Adam, cheers mate, that is the first time I have given the Beast rings a proper work out. Cheers Mr Moose, I hear your brother passed the other day.
  14. careful you don't breath out on the forward stroke... they snap!
  15. The rope was held at the bottom by Kong himself. He is a bit of a unit, a bit hairy, dare I say it, Gorilla like? Not sure where he got the idea for the company name though...
  16. No i have the gate on the caritool still. I just twist it against the gate whilst lifting to open it. Edit: that how I do it, Adam has chimed in about his setup.
  17. Thanks Tim. Re the rings, I hear you on that point, we had no choice but to snatch the pieces as opposed to letting them run. The pieces were well within the limits of the equipment used, plus it wasn't my rope...
  18. The insurance policy was the wall had to be demolished, so it wouldn't have been the end of the world. I just didn't want to start the process that day, leave it to the builders.
  19. Cheers mate, had to repreZent the SE London massive some how didn't I?
  20. It is a little accessory bin clipped into the ring on the saw. I do the same on mine and my 200t's except i use an old knackered bina.
  21. We removed a Lime tree in South East London this Monday just gone. The tree was behind residential and commercial properties. It was being removed as it was grown through the wall and the wall had to be demolished for a new dining area in the restaurant. There was an asbestos roofed extension directly below the tree and lots of kebab type counters and catering equipment. Decided it was best to Speed line the tree away from the targets and make life easier for the ground staff. Conventional rigging would have been a painful process until we got to the trunk. When the tree got too close to the wall for rigging I just sliced it and dropped the rings. The stump is being stump gound once the wall is out. Thanks and hope you enjoy. Switch setting to HD and see if you spot the rats running about on the floor. [ame] [/ame]
  22. Good video Adam. Must admit though, in more ways than one the crotch cam made me feel a bit sick...
  23. Yeah I have. I was just coming down on a natural crotch. The crotch obviously adds friction and it is not quite enough to engage the bone so it creeps a bit. It does stop though if you push the top arm up. A bit like engaging the wr1 on a soft tether.
  24. Just been looking a some footage I shot on Monday. Trying to put a vid together but it shows ascending the rope and the tether points and Swing dudes chesty harness. Hopefully I will get it sorted and uploaded tomorrow.
  25. Tachyon is a great rope. I have 4 hanks of it. But I just find it a tad bouncy for SRT work.
