  3. Ed,i don't really need to go bigger,8" would do,the main thing i want is lighter,the schiseling weighs 950kg.
  4. Mr Ed,have you ever built a chipper for the front of a mog? I'd love one that was say 600kg,10",and where more of the feed hopper folded.

  6. Very, very sad. His poor family must be in a right state, its the ones we leave behind that feel the greatest pain.Lets all take care if only for there sake.
  7. Also, without wishing to criticize any one, they carry on paying that sort of money because they can ,because people will work for that sort of money,if we all just said no and went else were, they would have to up the rate, easer said than done i know. The pay for train driver in London when up to 34k because that was the only way they could recruit enough.Thats what upset the fire men who were on 25k but for ever vacancy in the fire service there are at least 80 applicants,so why pay more?
  8. Crew cabs are very convenient but,the reduction in pay load is to much IMO.

  13. I've just bought a ms200 14" very pleased with it,i have tended to use my ms200T on the floor,so i thought i would get a 200 for ground work, also means i only need to carry chains and spairs for two saws 066 and 200
  14. That is soooooooo smoooooooth!!!!!!!!!!!! I think there is some form whitchcraft involved in the balance of those lifts
  15. I own a disco 3,and used a 130 for years there ain't no way a landy would go down there, when i saw the pic's i nealy did'nt put them on as they give no real idea of how steep it was, remember my mog is on 24" wheels with big tyres, when the other guys on site saw me going down it they said "you must be mad"
  16. Not a chance!!!! You can't see from the pics how steep it was,we had been driving down the tracks to get off,but yesterday i thought i wonder if she will go up there, she pissed it with 2.5 ton of chip on the back. This morning when we went down my groundie got out,he thought she was going over, the problem was that when empty the arse end came off the floor hence the 12" gap under the wheel on pic two,we are now going in backwards with no probs:icon14::wave:
  17. Had a bit of fun today getting onto site
  18. I've lost count of the number of trees i've felled on safety grounds, condemned by consultants, that turned out to be sound
