  1. Great pic's, cheers! and welcome.
  2. Just been to the web site and watched a few vids, I kept waiting for some one to say " The Fell is on " unbelievable!
  3. Is this a real question? or a leg pull? A "bob" is a schilling or 5p, so "ten bob" is 50p
  4. Yes but up here I could rent a nice little cave, buy a new flat cap and clogg's, feed my whippet, get some nice tripe and onions and still have change out of ten bob.
  5. You are either lying about your age Dean or you where being robed, while still in school I had a Saturday job earning £10.
  6. I started on the YTS (youth training scyem) on £27.50 a week.
  7. I would really like to see some pic's of some of these large tree reductions a few years down the line. Apart from Beech, I can't really see it having a long term effect on the trees size.
  8. Already booked mate, I do like a warm bed and a hot morning shower
  9. I'm staying in a hotel, can I bring some beer and have some curry? Please?
  10. Do you have permission to cut that tree? No love, we just drive round cutting tree's at random!
  11. Come on! What, with a bow saw ?
  12. I don't "get pissed off" by the way OTHERS work. Why would I ????????????
  13. Very true! I've seen them too....................and they ALWAYS have ladders
  14. AH!, but which came first? your lard-arse or your ladder? Or did one cause the other?
  15. Is this not the attitude that has led to the modern obesity epidemic?
  16. Am I reading a different thread:confused1: It states the tree is causing damage to the house foundations, not that the root plate is lifting. It is climbed to put a pull line in. Not a job I would want any association with:thumbdown:
  17. I'm guessing it was a 12 year old specimen when planted, which makes my estimate of 160 years correct.
