  1. Have you tried tuning it with the half key before using the whole key or is it stuck?
  2. Are you an AAAC? If you are did they not stipulate how client equerries where taken and dealt with?
  3. The cost of the item should include packaging, I do not believe that it takes longer to pack an item than to serve a customer collecting it.
  4. On removals I always guarantee the tree will no longer be there and thats a money back, cast iron guaranty
  5. Come on!! who do you think your kidding You know EXACTLY how much the postage is costing you, so it ain't difficult
  6. When I looked at AAAC, admittedly some years ago, it struck me as almost like being in a franchise. I really have no interest in being told how to take down enquires and deal with my clients.
  7. Maybe its simply the fact that most people are not stupid and give these these things the requisite respect, leading to few fatalities.
  8. Actually that may be fraud. You cannot collect VAT when it's not due!
  9. OK, with you now, my apologies
  10. Have you not seen the pictures posted of the shredder?
  11. If they don't collect it off you they will have to pay it out of their profits, which would presumably lead to higher prices.
  12. Pretty much my experience too, hopeless:thumbdown:
  13. All James Wall wanted to do was to take a last photo of his car, which was due to be crushed. :sneaky2:Yeah right
  14. For sure!! There is a more recent case of an old boy (in his 80's) who shot at a car that was trespassing on his land with obvious ill intent. He was also cleared:thumbup1: When I first heard about it on the radio I thought it was Dean
  15. Was a very good result, the pictures and story are quite funny:thumbup:
  16. Hi Metasman, do have Swans just over the summer or both winter and summer?
  17. When my Mrs and I were first married (26+years ago) we were totally skint, she baked all our own bread. My sandwiches were very substantial and filling.
  18. I have no interest in a "win" or any kind of pissing contest. I simply feel clarity is very important. There is a local council that tries to put conditions on unopposed 211's and claims listed building status protects trees within the grounds, its very unhelpful.
  19. I'm sorry you think I'm a pedant, but I think there is enough misunderstanding, without adding to it. If anything, I think you are one overcomplicating things, not me. A 211 notice is just that a "notice" not an application. The councils lack of action does not imply "agreement". It simply means they do not feel the tree concerned is worthy of TPO, for whatever reason. I not sure many TO's would thank you if you suggesting that they had "agreed" with a client topping a tree, simply because they had not prevented the work.
  20. You do not require their "agreement" they need to be notified, after 6 weeks you can crack on.
  21. Well after all the promise, today was not a patch on yesterday. Its a good job the forecasters are not payed on results, they would starve!
  22. You and I see the world very differently, but then I have never come anywhere near to blows with my bother or any other member of my family.
  23. If I were you I'd at least try and reach some kind of understanding with the guy Life is short and can get very messy.
