  1. You misunderstand me, I am saying I would not have hit him, as he would have then had a counter claim against me. I would have collected all the evidence and brought about his financial ruin, that would hurt him far more and for much longer than a hiding. He should be inside for that !!what a moron!
  2. Maybe YOU do. I've read this http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk...34884/1721340/ I DON'T! Don't be fooled into think that the envo staff or the police know their stuff, they often don't, make sure they SHOW you the legislation they say applies to you. I'll never forget a poor bloke on the TV he was stop by the police for riding a race motor bike home from a race meet without lights, the rider told the copper he did not need them as it was not dark. The copper would not have it, he got some social police bod to drive miles to come and have a look. The expert agreed with the rider, but by then it was going dark, so he had to get someone to come with a bike trailer to pick him up and copper didn't even say sorry!!!!!!!!

  15. This paints a very different picture to your original post!!!!!!!!! And it could even point to YOU being at fault for putting others at risk by leaving such a worker insufficiently supervised. I also think it would have been better to have let him go sooner, as now he may feel that this incident is the main reason he has been let go and could feel hard done by and not mend his ways. Just my thoughts.
  16. Yes! And as you had left site who had you left in charge?
  17. You want a fence post producer, they peel the bark of so you get mostly bark.

  19. Because most have your attitude some of us get some real bargains It's not hard to check thing out, by making contact with the seller.
  20. Good point! The really smart ones with loads of initiative only end up learning all they can from you then leaving and setting up on their own, after all thats what most of us did The less smart ones generally know they would struggle to go it alone, so with the correct supervision and time to get the hang of things you have a good man for a long time.
  21. Take the chain of the 880, hide behind a tree with the saw ticking over, as the victim approaches jump out, rev saw and thrust bar into their guts! Don't do this to someone with a week heart!
  22. I "snipe" with only seconds to go, so there is no time to get carried away.
  23. Few years back , we were working in an old allotments, my groundie was dragging some bash out, while he was away I got a handful of blackberry's squished them onto my forearm and held my 020 onto it and came staggering out, the look on his face was priceless!!!
