  1. Not I ! But I may undercut your price, where is it!
  2. Logger, if you read the quote in the link above, it says "arboriculture".
  3. Is it a "hat rack" that your making in your Avatar?
  4. How many years we talking? I was pulled and weight on the M6 just over five years ago, they said nothing about me being on the motorway or running on red.
  5. I'm just pointing out that its STILL NOT set in stone as to were the law stands.
  6. What if its registered as an "agricultural vehicle"? Cropspayers can run on red and carry a load. As do combinedharvisters.
  7. I disagree, I would say that a Unimog can be EITHER a tractor or a truck, depending on the specification.
  8. I'm not saying that Meripilus cause the tree to fail, but,IME, it's a good indicator that the tree WILL fail. If you find a body in the woods thats covered in maggots, it doesn't mean the maggots killed the victim but, their a fair indication that he's dead.
  9. Me please, you have my details already I believe.
  10. I think ONCE there are some well documented studies on the success of investigating and monitoring of diseased trees and a properly set down criteria for retention. Then we will be in a position to move forward in a professional and quantifiable manner. At the moment it all seems very subjective. I am in no way wishing to suggest that what you have done has not been done in a very professional manner, but at the moment it seems to me that the information required to make the call is somewhat lacking.
  11. The real problem is the fact that we have such limited stocks of mature trees, due to decades of under planting, so we tend to hang on to over mature trees .
  12. Is that not the whole point mate, we just don't know, so, IMO, if there is a fair risk I would err on the side of caution.
  13. And how many lives have been save by the prompt and responsible felling of diseased trees? Could I live with felling a deseased tree that "maybe" had some years left in it? Yes, I fell trees for a living, not a problem. Could I live with recommending the retention of a deseased tree that then failed and killed or seriously injured some one? NO!!!!!!!!!
  14. Yes you can get an artic in no problem. He can load with a John Deer with front loader, how high does he need to reach?
  15. 880 have been new cap for 2+ years, once stilh have used up the screw cap castings they'll change for the vastly IMPROVED caps. Why any one would not like them is quite beyond me ............. but then when colour TV arrived some people still preferred black and white
  16. Pics for Buzz, tried to send in a PM but could not attach them.
  17. Ahhh the "Unimog" the receivers wet dream!!!
  18. I should read more carefully, the 020T tank I repaired was the petrol tank, I had put a spike through it.
  19. Is it not a plastic tank?
  20. A WEEK!! they must be thick ones!
  21. I tend to use tights.
  22. Did you fix the gearbox too?
