Dean, Sean said a couple of extras are OK, so I would think our limit should be 15. If every one who is coming says so we will know where we're at. Peter could not do the 13th.

I use this a lot, but I tie off with a "timber hitch". Was shown this many years ago by a timber merchant I used to climb for, his throw line had a large nut and bolt as a weight.

I used Cobra bracing on an Irish Yew, just put it round as has been described, but will need renewing ever 5-7 years or so, and if ever released the tree will flop as it will not develop the strength to support its self. I would prefer to reduce,
