  1. Thats interesting David, we had some Black Pops, they were on a road called "Cotton Tree Lane", presumably because of of the cotton like seed. But I can only recall a few years in my 47 years of living in this area where they set seed.
  2. I've just got in from a youth orchestra comity meeting that started a 7.30, there is one each month and it don't pay. I was a parent governor at my local primary for 12year, including being chair for a period. I have taken off many days from work to deal with important matters, that didn't pay either. Will that do?
  3. Really What happened to society? I have friends and family with very different circumstances to myself and I love my country, I want whats good for us all. I know that 5 years of Corbyn would lead to 15 years of misery for us all. The previous cuts would feel like a spending spree. There is no magic money tree.
  4. Who Corbyn would cuddle up with in a heartbeat to take power They have 10 elected MP's, I guess you despise all those who voted for them, but you have no issue with those who support a religion that feels exactly the same and worse

Do the DUP not pretty much hold similar views to muslims? Yet Muslims good/DUP bad, is it a race thing? DUP are a political organisation. Islam is a religion, not a race remember? You miss my point (as usual) If the DUP is "bad" so must be islam, do you think they don't vote? I only mention race as what other reason can there be and as you have shown earlier, many don't seem to know the difference Do you think communism is a good thing? and is not responsible for 100M deaths? Is this really A road we want to head down? Socialism and Communism aren't the same thing Thin edge of the same wedge If people were waving swastika people would be up in arms, but the hammer and sickle is fine Stalin killed far more than Hitler. I don't know anyone in the Labour Party who is flying the hammer and sickle Its called the "loony left" with good reason, they appear totally devoid of even the simplest reasoning ability. You call them 'Loony' Left. In fact Labour has it's roots in Left wing politics. As for reasoning, at least Labour had a manifesto that contained something to apply reason to. It only makes sense to those who know nothing of economic, once we have a £10 minimum wage, with all the pay increases above base that would follow, how much corporation tax do you think there would be? The very corporation tax that is going to pay all the bills They lost the election, but claim they won, criticise the Torys for accepting DUP support, but their own sister party in Ireland believe the exact same thing and in any case would need DUP support themselves in order to take power. Accepting DUP support has the potential to cause more harm to the peace process in NI than anything else politicians have done. So why has your leader offered to take power, when he would need them? They are utterly bonkers. If you say so Yes, yes I do The youth are be haled as heroes for voting, would that still be the case if they have voted Tory, I think not The youth wouldn't vote for the Tories as they have no appeal at the moment. I think you're doing the youth a great disservice by assuming they can't make up their own minds about things that directly affect their lives and futures So I'm doing them a disservice, but you point out they will only vote in their own self interest? We live in the time of the individual, where people live in bubbles and feel no need to educate themselves beyond their own self-centred , self interest. They have no interest in the facts, unless they fit their own personal interests. You've just summed up my position on your statement

  7. Wow!!! Powerful video!! So much information and argument, thats my whole ideology changed. Damn it!!! Why can't I go back in time and vote Labour!! .
  8. How can that possibly be considered "successfull"? I guess the fact that many feel it is tells the OP a lot about his potential earnings:001_huh:
  9. Thing is Mark, staying put is the correct thing to do in a tower block. People in this building where ringing 999 and being advised to stay in their flat and put towels at the bottom of doors. Apparently they are designed to compartmentalise the fire, so it does not spread. The fire service should fight the fire from inside the building. Someone has really cocked up here with the refurb:thumbdown:
  10. Yes, but presumably this will have been signed off by building control?
  11. Can't imagine anyone can have survived being trapped in there. Truly awful incident. I don't understand why we have such buildings, yet appear to have no equipment for dealing with such a blaze?
  12. I remember when I was a lad my grandma had a problem with a fridge/freezer that was playing up. Can't remember if it had been moved. My uncle stud it upside down for a while. This apparently fixed the problem.
  13. 4ft down! how tall was this fence?
  14. I don't think oil is your problem. It's the fluid that is evaporated to cause cooling that the problem, you may get an air lock in the system, I think, but I'm no expert.
  15. Delays and cancelations are just part of normal business costs, just like breakdowns, ill health, etc, etc. It should be costed into your rates.
  16. Everyone pays tax. Do you mean income tax?
  17. You can't think the same of us, we simply want the will of the people put into action, as was promised before the referendum .
  18. Which countries in Europe do not import good into the UK or want us to visit them and spend?
  19. Brexit is not the problem. The problem is the re-moaners and most of the establishment trying the frustrate brexit.
