  3. Is there anything you don't think your good at??????
  4. You need to look at their car, if its a Ford charge £250, if its a BMW £500!!!
  5. 6 months is a very long time, its very nearly half a year.
  6. Has the saw been dropped on its nose??
  7. I seem to recall hearing of a joke that was translated into Russian and then back into English and the meaning was totally lost.
  8. Thanks lads Any way good news, the leak has stopped, I've bashed the sides back in and the washer seems to be working fine!!!!!! And my rope is lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. In your pic's I can only see "good wood". Most Ash do that (given chance) That would have have made a great pollard.
  10. I find a bit of Lime takes the file best, but I also use the file handle to take off the burs and find Ash or Beech best for this.
  11. Against my better judgment I followed the advice of many on here and put my rope in the washer, bad idea!!!!!!!! I put it in a pillow case (as advised) and cable tied the top (to keep it in) When it went onto the spin it almost destroyed the washer, it now leaks and has huge dents on each side. It vibrated out from under the surface and damaged the lino. My wife loves that washer and is not happy. Fortunately I have a new washer in the shed.
  12. Unfortunately thats not the case mate, if you want to set a value on a vehicle you insure, you need to get an independent valuation and send it to the insurer before you take out the cover. Insurance is to replace whatever is covered, so if you are not happy with their offer you just ask them to buy you a replacement.
  13. Thieving scum!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad you have insurance mate and its not going to be a devastating hit (of course a grand is still a lot to loose) What gets me real annoyed is that these no marks don't know whether your insured or not and could be taking away your very lively hood, when caught they should have thief tattooed on their forehead!!
  14. The saw looks to be an MS180, from the photos defo not a 361 the plates have been changed. MS361 has AV engine, much larger, white handle, different air filter cover, and so on.
  15. If the customer loves it I would fit some root barrier and give it a chance.
  16. I don't have time to fanny around getting combi spanners, with the simple new caps you only need your fingers and a modicum of intellect:001_smile:
  17. My man is the same, but I pay him £65 as he will graft when required, doesn't moan and has initiative.
  18. Yeah right I believe you, honest
  19. Theres a village near me called "Newchurch" the church dates back 100's of years
  20. Post 1995 1600's have 10 (mine has) the axles are no heaver duty than the 8 stud, its just to standardize the rims I think.
  21. So whats powering the chipper and/or crane???
  22. I have had a Ruffle boiler for 6 years, its been great, but it has started to leak. I've just bought a Farm 2000 of ebay, which I will be fitting over the summer. They are great!!, mine takes any thing I can lift (the fire box is 4' by 6') and will burn green wood (but your better using seasoned, as you will use much less and not need filling as often). I'm plumbing my new one so it will heat my above ground pool over the summer, when I don't need the house heating as much.
