  1. It would be very difficult to do, these are such compact machines (thats one of the good things about them) that there is very little room to make such changes. I think if it could be done without a total redesign, TW themselves would have done it.
  2. The 150 was the same fly wheel housing as their first Entec machines, so although those small sealed (ungreasable) bearings were a mistake it was not possible to solve the problem without redesigning the whole machine. If they have made a similar mistake with the 190, which a totally different design, thats a real shame and very much a missed opportunity too get rid of their reputation for poor bearings.
  3. But bare in mind that if you are self employed no one will pay you to be on here 8 hours a day. You could go on benefits and get paid for not working.
  4. Spot on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got sick of lads treating me like they were doing me a favor by coming in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. It is truly depressing that this is, IME, very, very true!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Not at all, I would presume the CCTV is there to catch thieves, if you are not a thief you have nothing to fear. I have no interest in whether I'm bing film or not, as I'm not a thief. If you need to tell your staff you have CCTV, so they can "behave" accordingly, you need new staff, IMO.
  7. The fact that you make a statement like the one I have highlighted in bold, makes me think you will struggle if you go SE. Why did you not look for other avenues of possible revenue??, in what ways could your skills be used to give your clients things they don't even know are available?? You could speak to other colleagues or even other department within the organization and see if their are ways you free time could be used to assist them for the greater good of the firm as a whole. How any one can think its acceptable to surf the web for 8 hours a day is beyond me:confused1:
  8. Do you not find it a bit stingy mate??
  9. How do you know?????????? Seems like one hell of a coincidence to me:sneaky2:
  10. I will never understand this sort of attitude!!!!!!!!! Theft is theft!!!!!!!!!!! I would never work with any one with that sort of attitude:thumbdown:
  11. If thats true, sack him any way for being stupid!!!
  12. :confused1:Really!! Why?????????????????

    Torture

Your mother should have taken you to a "Chicken pox party" as a child, its not that bad as a child.
  14. That skid steer needs greasing.
  15. If the boiler was well built and air tight, the speed of the burn can be controlled by reducing air flow.
  16. When ever I look at a hedge trimming job, I always say "if you get a gardener to do it, it will be much cheaper, as they don't have my overheads"
  17. Indeed!! And the customer saved £265!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. No, but I don't keep such parts in stock, just buy as required and with three trailers down time, while you order them in, should not really be an issue
  19. But surely that most of the time or whats the point?????????
  20. How?????????????? If he is doing the same number of miles with one trailer the brakes and tyres will just wear out faster, with three trailers they will last years.
  21. The other guy may be absolutely on his arse, he may have kids to feed and bills to pay and desperately need the work. I get frustrated when I miss a job by a few quid, but if the other price is less than I would ever even consider doing it for, I'm not bothered, let them get on with working for nothing!! I can stay at home warm and dry making no money, that beats working in the cold for nowt.
