  1. Presumably Mike is pointing out the the "A" and "LA" ones do, upping the power of others will cause problems
  2. No, this was cleared up by a letter posted by Peter. VOSA Letter.pdf
  3. Why do you care so much about what others are doing???????
  4. Only saw the first 10minuets this morning, just watched it to end. "Fortunately ONLY a brocken arm" WTF??????????
  5. I was removing 2 HC's few weeks back, the locals were less than happy, before the end of the second day there was a TPO on a neighbouring Elm.
  6. If your still enjoying the axe you aint done enough.
  7. No, they should deal with the application within 8 week, but if they don't there's little you can do, other than write to the SoS, but the TPO remains in place regardless.
  8. What about my back?? where do I find the rating??? I've had my lass have good look but she reckons theres no plate??????
  9. I think the cat is out the bag, so you just treat like any other tree, I could be wrong.
  10. Alex Price. 1650's are better for many things, their extra length means the carry weight better and are more stable when towing, I would struggle with one round here because many places are very tight to get into.
  11. Mine holds around 6.5 cube I think, when full it adds 3tonne to the vehicle weight, so at least three time more than a transit.
  12. Thats incorrect, the u1500 has the larger chassis and the u1600 has the smaller chassis (but with stiffening plates fitted to the chassis rails) Generally the even numbers are small chassis, odd numbers are large chassis.
  13. Were they still building the 1600 when the euro 5 engine came out?? Would you not be better with a 200hp 1600, I think most have a euro 2 engine.
  14. Not always. It didn't last year, I'm pretty sure the grass never stopped growing last winter.
  15. This is very true!!! Some seem to think a new truck, chipper, unimog, etc come with a full order book under the bonnet, they don't. My advice would be cope with the gear you have until working 7 days a week is not keeping up with demand and then upgrade.

    Nice truck

    Think I'll pass!!
  17. Although plenty of empty trucks get pulled when they can't see the load.
  18. There is no harm in asking, but please don't look at me like I've shot your dog when I say NO, as most people do when they ask us for logs when we are working roadside.
  19. It was brand new Jon, Stan had gone to Germany and got it.
  20. Well as the one at the APF was brand new and this one is 20 years old, would you not expect a difference in price???
