  1. the pelter ones i find no good for my chipper the sordin ones are much better and the snr is higher imo
  2. i had to isolate my hydrolic flow from my hiab to run my splitter it definately effects the pressure:)
  3. if you have a 4inch chipper and chip 4inch surely if you have a 9inch chipper and chip 4inch there would be less wear and tear on the big chipper. but a big chipper is heavier, and pulling a smaller chipper combined wieght would be more benificial as you could have more wieght on your truck and not be overall overloaded.
  4. could you not use a log burning boiler like skyhucks and chip the brash ?would that be cheaper than buying all that kit ?
  5. its all hardwood why chip it ? ranges from 3inch to 4ft diameter.
  6. i was wondering if its worth getting a processor in to log this timber. Do you think its worth getting one in ?

  8. big lumps go into logs,chip on chip pile. it burns when dry just spits a bit i put it in soft wood pile

  13. it will absorb water then go to mush well it did in my field.but i didnt put a membrane down first,that might make a differance. thats my experiance of chip roads others may vary
  14. by what i had read the article its allegedly been repaired twice before! it doesnt sound too good maybe it shouldnt have been in use.imo

  16. still better to buy a secondhand one for 4k ish and own it outright then your not working for monthly payments = less stress on your work load imo
  17. how much is tw 125 after 5 years it would be 12600 plus deposit sounds alot to me
  18. woodturners dont use it because of the splitting.Would be interesting to see how it procresses.
  19. what a shame! says in the article he fell from the cage was he not fastened in? its 1 hell of a failure to happen
