Ffs I hope at least he is wearing Hugo Boss in order to make up for that sloppy salute.

I don't think he knows what day it is honestly. The level of fervent denial amongst his supporters regarding his mental decline is astounding.

Pig tail on steel, machine-mounted winch cable
Mike Hill replied to JonnoR's topic in Maintenance help
That cable has" spun with the lay" of the rope. Most cable is RHOL right hand ordinary lay which means all wires and strands apart from the core twist to the right . That's called " Pig tailing". So in order to fix it you cut it off and then wind on the cable under load allowing the cable to twist in order to get the life out of it. Make sure that when you wind it on under load each wrap is tight on the drum, against the previous wrap. This is called " fleeting". Instead of using a choker, use a length of chain and a hook or your going to be continually cutting the pig tails off the winch rope. -

Yes there are private schools in Scandinavia. However the very richest send their kids to CH or France. The Norwegian prime minister, a multi millionaire, sends his kids to this one.Curiously the same School as the former Norwegian prime minister went to. Oslo Waldorf School (Norwegian: Rudolf Steinerskolen i Oslo) is a Waldorf school located in the Vestre Holmen area in the Vestre Aker district of West End Oslo, Norway. It is an integrated primary, middle and high school with around 550 pupils. Founded in 1926, it is one of the oldest Waldorf schools worldwide. The school is an independent non-profit foundation, receives government funding and is officially recognized under the Private School Act as equivalent to public schools, its diplomas qualifying for entry into higher education and other schools. It is a member of the Norwegian Association of Waldorf Schools. Many of its alumni have been noted in the arts, politics and other areas of society, and include the former NATO secretary-general and prime minister Jens Stoltenberg.[1]

Its often the case when someone hears a response that they didnt want to hear. I get it frequently when people ask for a tree report and I recommend felling.

It's not that easy in most of the USA either surprisingly. DNR land is still heavily regulated with ballots/ tags/ seasons/ species/ gender and bag limits.

How far this goes back ,is quite horrible How Rotherham bosses have reinvented themselves since grooming scandal Council leaders criticised in inquiries into child sexual exploitation have become government advisers and executive coaches The 2014 Jay report condemned senior managers for having “underplayed” the scale of the “appalling” abuse faced by girls — some as young as 11 — at the hands of men mainly of Pakistani heritage between 1997 and 2013. It found there had been “blatant” collective failures by the council’s leadership. Sonia Sharp Sonia Sharp led Rotherham’s children’s department from 2005 to 2008. She has acknowledged and apologised for its failure to protect girls, admitting that her department “knew there were many children in the community at risk and feared that this was the tip of an iceberg”. After leaving Rotherham, Sharp worked for Sheffield council before moving to Australia in 2012 where she was responsible for running education services in the state of Victoria. Today, Sharp is a partner at the consultancy EY Australia, where she “provides bespoke advice to state and territory governments” on “human and social services challenges”. Ged Fitzgerald Ged Fitzgerald, who was criticised for “missing opportunities” to tackle grooming while chief executive of Rotherham council between 2001 and 2003, has rebranded himself as an “executive coach and mentor”. A report commissioned by Rotherham council and published in 2017 concluded that a more “rigorous” approach by Fitzgerald could have resulted in a “very different” response to child sexual exploitation at the time. Fitzgerald went on to serve as chief executive of Sunderland city council, Lancashire county council and Liverpool city council. In May 2017 he was arrested as part of an investigation into financial irregularities during his tenure at Lancashire county council and resigned from his position at Liverpool council the following year. In August 2022 he was charged with misconduct in public office and procuring the misconduct of others, related to alleged activities at Liverpool and Lancashire councils. While on bail he has transitioned into executive coaching, becoming a certified member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Jahangir Akhtar Jahangir Akhtar was described in a 2015 report on the council by Louise Casey as an intimidating and “powerful figure” in Rotherham politics, thought to have “influence that extended to the police”. The Jay report suggested that Akhtar, who served as deputy leader of the council and vice-chairman of the South Yorkshire police and crime panel, may have chosen to ignore a “politically inconvenient truth” when he claimed not to have realised that there was a “deep-rooted problem of Pakistani-heritage perpetrators targeting young white girls”. Today Akhtar works for the bank Santander and is a registered director of a social enterprise based at a Rotherham mosque that provides “educational support services” and “social work activities”. Suspended by the Labour Party in 2014, he continues to take a keen interest in politics and started a TikTok channel where he posted “unfiltered” commentary on various issues, particularly the war in Gaza. In full (paywalled) hopefully the start of a very, very long running 'where are they now' Times series

Steven Statistical ratification will not change the blatant fact that Keir must deal with the matter at hand. He either comes down hard on this or effectively " green lights" other abusers.Of which according to you there are many? England deserves better than a proxy nonce career knee bender.

Mate come on. Where are the Kiwi and Aussie rape gangs? Polish,Lithuanian & Canadian? There aren't any because we don't find it acceptable and many Muslim do. Simple as that.
-
That's the thing though. If Starmer dosnt take charge of this it's likely going to ruin him. The root cause is Muslim men believing that raping vulnerable children is acceptable. Then the Police knowing this but doing nothing about it for fear of being called Racist. The longer Starmer fluffs about the further the Coffin Nails go.
-
Then Starmer should stand up and say so. " These horrendous crimes will be investigated to the fullest extent, using resources from outside the respective police districts. While we acknowledge rape and sexual abuse is perpetrated by all ethnicity's we have been presented with a horrific history of generational abuse and police neglect ". That's it's,the eyes of the world are upon him. This is no time for " whataboutery" You either support Paedophilia or you condem it. Where do you stand Steven?
-
Have a listen to the victims statements Steven, even on censored platforms like insta, they are universally Asian attackers. This isn't really political, it's criminal quite literally. I would have thought Starmer would welcome an independent investigation into the handling of this atrocity, where by he could prove his innocence and discredit the opposition? Musk should be free to say what he pleases.

The left's tendency to ban any form of free speech contrary to their own agenda is absolutely typical of their head in the sand policy. Imagine the white hot outrage if the grooming gangs were whites raping minorities ? There would be no end to the witch hunt.

Regarding the fires in LA. CalFire the statewide body responsible for wild land fire fighting had is budget cut by 80%,there hasnt been any meaningful programs to reduce the amount of fuel in the canyons close to residential housing since the 70s,houses were built far from fire hydrants along with insufficient water pressure to lift the water up to where its needed. Watched the BBC interview an Australian wild land fire fighting expert who by the sounds of things has never been to California because he couldnt pronounce the place names. His conclusion to decades of forest neglect and bad residential planning. Climate Change. What a Tosser.

Shall I ask Khris? Anyhow, didnt the old Vermeer 625 have the engine and cutting unit above the deck of the chipper? ie all bolted to the flat surface and nothing hanging down? I bought one years ago for a project but didnt get around to doing anything with it. I suppose you could cut off the axel, drawbar and build a subframe with fork slots and legs for it to stand on? Being aircooled will cut down a bit of weight.

I think command detonation would go much further honestly .

I wear latex gloves under my regular work gloves in the wet and cold. Swapping my wet gloves for dry ones throughout the day.
-
I think that is a great idea. Sadly there are three things that prevent this gaining traction. 1) The general public and their love of Bambi. 2) The government dosnt support the private ownership of firearms. 3) Stalkers themselves who won't support new people incase they themselves loose stalking grounds. Possibly a fouth with Private land owners not allowing the public or persons unknown onto their land. You have to hit everywhere or sanctuaries are created that hold animals. I used to cull in forests back home and the best approach is constant even pressure. Although the general public could shoot the forests, then generally only went after the easy animals, but at least it kept them off the roads.

Buy/borrow a 36" bar, buck it off the root plate like Rich sayes. Then rip it into quarters even if your going to mill it. Slabs the full width would be heavy at even an inch thick. If you want to mill it quarter sawn beech makes the most of am otherwise pretty boring timber.
