  1. No permits.No red tape.Man,Rifle,Back Pack.
  2. Yeah, its a Red. Biggest one that I have seen. Its two back legs without skin and hung for two days weighed 90 Kg.I had to make two trips on foot to carry the Meat off him. I couldn't get my hands around the base of its Antlers. There was a game Farm in a Valley over, they buy in Animals for rich "Hunters" to shoot. He must have escaped from there.
  3. Lunging Hunting Hunting Setting up my Father with a Rifle that "Dosn't Kick that much" [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nprgds7vBE]YouTube - shooting 001.AVI[/ame]
  4. What is your products Gravity in relation to normal Diesel? My Father works at a Uni where they do alot of research into alternate Fuels. The biggest hurdle in maintaining reliabilty and longevity of Modern Diesel Engines is the differing Gravity prior to Asperation. Diesel Pump life,Biological contaminates, ineffective sealing of the Piston rings to the bore with the subsequent dilution of the Engine Oil are the main problems they face when running Engines without extensive modification. If you have copies of the test criteria I can pass them on if you are interested.
  5. I've used either Aspen or the Norwegian Generic Stuff made by Statol for going on Four years. In my opinion only,it extends the life of Saws,Strimmers etc.It seems to burn cleaner.I have opened up Exhausts, pulled Pistons etc and its supprising how little crap there is build up in Mufflers or on the top of Cylinder heads. Its not that more expensive than regular Fuel plus mix.I think its about £380 for 205 liters in a drum.We arn't allowed to store that much so we buy it by the "slab".In 5 liter cans. This is the Statol version. Sthil also makes a version, like the Statol stuff its Green in Colour. The ammount of cutting I do with the Exhaust in a direction that I means I would inhale alot of crap is minimal. Its not a concious decision, its just how you work. I would imagine unburned fuel/oil mix would be alot heavier than the air surrounding it,so it would soon fall downward as it cools?

    Deer

Years ago I was out yet to bag a Sika Deer. I sat down under a Tree to have a smoke, when I heard a Deer feeding below me,carefully I removed my boots and crept forward it my socks.Every now and then I could see one or more of its Legs under the thick Brush. Crawling forward on hands and knees, moving each little twig out of the way...then when I was only yards away the Deer swung round ,as it sensed me. I lept up almost into the face of a Yearling Stage, threw the Rifle to my shoulder, pressed the Trigger...............CLICK! Empty Chamber.
  7. I got one sent over for a Climber we had. Its very well built and very comfortable. Like alot of Cougar's I guess.
  8. Here Steve. You can have these for nothing, but you can't sell them to Training Organisations etc.
  9. They are MY Hot Pants. No,Brodie will have to bring his own.
  10. If I paid you £11.50ph and you got to stack my kitchen shelves. Would we have a deal?
  11. I've been looking for my "jorts" since you left Josh! You know my address, send them back please.
  12. You could load the Landy and Trailer as freight in NewCastle and then fly over.Thats the only way I have heard of doing it directly to Bergen these days.
  13. Can't you make one from an old Film canister? Have a look in the web for home made waste gates or waste gate "whistles".
  14. Last year we had a special dance. Although it didn't prove popular with the Ladies,it was at least unique. Here is Mick showing us how its done. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wno8tWg-Q4g&feature=PlayList&p=83E1EDA703044D15&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=2]YouTube - technoviking bakes a cake[/ame]
  15. He is using a "Bore and Release" Cut. Its used to safely release tension in a Tree. Here is a Vid. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWXWh6wDOXY]YouTube - bore and release[/ame]
  16. Would you consider a "Rigging" cost? We and most companies here charge two hours working time to cover getting to the job.Once you have greased,Fueled, loaded and checked the Fluid levels plus factored in travel time the two hours often barely covers it. That way at least, the client has a machine arrive ready for work and you have been paid for the entire time you were working for the client.
  17. This is how almost all Spar Trees are rigged in Skylining operations. I never saw any break, but know it did happen, some of the Trees were subject to 50plus ton of dynamic load.
  18. To me your Thread sounds like a self sympathetic rant. Sounds no different to anyone else who has strived to better themselves through education or the desire to have their own company. Bleeting to us about the encountered hardships in your endevour to become more qualified is not a constructive excercise. No one is "against you",either here or outside in the real world.
  19. How about... 020,361,441. A 441 will run a 28'' Bar ok.If he usually runs a 20'' bar, then it would be fine for about 99% of all the Trees I felled in the UK. An 660 with a 30'' bar will sit in the shed most of the year.441 can be out making money and have the 28'' Bar for it hanging in the Shed.
  20. Distance between London united kingdom and Sofia bulgaria You sure you didn't hit anything mate?
  21. How many Female compeditor's? Seems its a bit of a struggle to fill the ranks.
  22. Dean. How long has it been since you drove an HGV on a daily basis? Even in the last ten years the insulating in the cabs had lept forward. If the impact was light, the stereo up and the model of Truck has a noticable blind spot then the court decided.
  23. They should show that to all learner drivers. Car drivers have no respect for the stopping distances and turning circles of Trucks. She cut him up,got away lightly.
