there is a used naarva shear head on mascus but i dont think is a processor just has the bunchers on on it. there is also a used vimek 404t3 harvester on there as well with a keto head, in sweden i think got about 700hrs on it from memory, price on application so i can imagine it will be dear.

i would suggest that in dredging the pond you have stirred up the nutrients in the silt and as such have lead to the rapid growth of the duckweed, just keep dragging it out and i suspect it will settle down. you could try using a small roped floating barrage to stop the weed clogging the outfall

I have sip progress, seem alright but i dont know how they will hold up to brambles etc seem comfortable enough wearing them in warm temperatures though which is what i was after

yes just change to the rim etc you can get the oregon part number on their online selector guide as it depends on the age of the saw as to which bits you need, think you can only get 7pin rim, as opposed to 7 or 8 in .325

but my stove supplier said i sould only burn kiln dried hardwoods, does that not strike you as a bit fuel inefficent I have been burning some storm downed larch out my woodland and must admit, its pretty good, never used softwood prior to that really

you do if your in an area with more informed police, we used to have take cultivation equipment to the fields on the back of the smaller tractors and take the big tractors (eg challenger 95/quadtracs) on their own. This was the case in Cambs and Hants when i have worked there

my husky superwinch i got of ebay for £200 has done me proud, spent £30 on service parts for it, new gaskets, oils and gearbox grease. £80 on a bumper, about £100 for a custom made wiring loam for it all, and about £80 on a used lodar industrial remote with 60mtr range, so when felling i can control it myself, the remote is well worth having. so far i havent found anything it wont pull sensibly, been using it for felling and rolling big logs when sawing them up it will roll a 5ftdia 30ft poplar trunk uphill without thinking about it. Because the husky is worm drive as well you dont have an issue leaving it with tension on a load like a normal electric winch. Im pretty sure there is a reason these are fitted to loads of utility spec landrovers

really i didnt think the cylinder was available as its not the same as the 088. the av mounts are a few pounds each is the £350 the RRP or a dealer discounted price the avs are only a few quid to replace with new genuine ones

I mean the proper sort of bog where if you tear the top layer up its basically mushy watery rubbish you cant stand on it mine is fine on clay and mud but for wet boggy ground sometimes floatation is more important than depth of tread

offer to help beat on shoot days, offer to make flag sticks and posts for them and make yourself an asset to them and not a hinderance, let them know if you see any vermin about, offer to help trapping squirrels etc if your in the woods daily, and have a meeting over summer with some plans for your cutting the following winter and go through it with them

how wet? is wet ground my atv will do ok on boggy ground but when it cuts through the top its had it, what about a compact tractor? tracked dumpers are pretty handy though I would if i have to choose one go for a honda atv on a set of tatou 4S tracks its about £10k's worth but will go just about anywhere

I would speak to someone locally who does woodland management advice and can steer you to funding streams to assist with the woodlands and will know local contractors to market timber to and suitable outlets, I could reel of loads of grant schemes that may/maynot help with your funding but without walking the woodland and knowing the locations then the advice i can give you would be seriously limited. also what do you as the owners want from the woodland, write down a list, prioritise it, then see if you can generate income from your list. I would strongly recommend either speaking to a woodland advisor or at least speak to your local FC woodlands officer, and maybe do some back ground reading such as Ben Laws book on woodland management called "the woodland way" this should help you to clearly define what you want and give you some outline options.

cheers guys, I know snares wouldn't even be entertained, its more than my work is worth to suggest it. So the consensus is kanias very good but proper pricey. I agree in most areas fens etc would be a better choice but its public access to the woodlands etc and i am just struggling to find a better solution.

I have tunnels and a few fens but they arent suitable for this site really, no poison being used locally, one neighbour was using some poison but has stopped. I notice Stanton hope currently have 10% off the kanias but still just over 100quid for 2 wonder if ratchet strapping a fen to a tree would work
