  2. ahh rite, ok matey thanks. ive heard the blaze doesnt selftend to easily because of its low weight, i no steve has made it work but cant find any threads on it....
  3. where can i get some eye to eye cord for my blaze??? going to start using a v.t soon and i no most of you lot have tried and tested every option and i wanted to save myself alot of time messing around, also it doesnt self tend!!! think its due to the crappy 8mm cord im using.... any help is much appreciated..

  6. take your time, noting worse than rushing a sharpen only to have to do it again!!!! and also have a tea with you but dont sharpen so the filings go in your tea!! im sure we have all done it by mistake!!

    UK vs Nz

    this is interesting as i want to go to nz in a year or so.... only thing that worries me is family.... i no the work i do now would not be half of what its like there, plus the place aint full if imigrants!!!!

  12. carters hitch for tieing a load down, double half hitchs with a stick whn on a tow bar, i like to use slings when lowering, what does a cow hitch look like?

    i got sent home with half days pay!!!!!!!!! bonus!!!! we were doing conifers the day befor and left a few 50ft's exposed, was very exciting to watch!!

  18. since this thread started i have bought a new coat from tkmax!!!!!! its a regatta windproof, waterproof and fits really well and the best bit is it cost only 20 quid!!!!! cant fault it soo far
  19. i think if you have a chainsaw in your hand and you are working professionally you should have trousers, boots and helmet on....... entirely up to you what you do at home.........
  20. i always do that in my local area, there was a beautiful silver lime that had a ivy stem of about 10''!! i had to go get my 200t saved it just in time!!
