  1. nope and we would all be ****** if there was random drugs tests, but its not for work!!!!!
  2. also great re-assurance on building sites with lots of nails sticking out of wood!!!!
  3. does the pulley pull through the eye? and does the small krab catch the rope to retrieve it?
  4. could of been very nasty, are lucky chappy!! can happen to any one tho...
  5. and also check the towing hitch and the emergency wire is in good condition, toooo many trailers/chippers fall off due to incompetence!
  6. always thinking on the bright side!! madmanmunky - how long do your haix last befor there like bowling shoes??? i had to climb in my old boots today because i left my ''newer'' pair at another firm, and they were nearly down to the metal plate!!!!!!!!!!! was a bit scarey tho on a wet mature sycamore!!

  9. couldnt you put on a maillon and leave the pulley on your rope(if you have a spliced eye) all the time? i leave my cs on all the time any ways because of the large sheath around the eye that prevents it falling off and it never really gets in the way..

  11. i bet you can just take the spikes off and not put anything in place, i wouldnt want the spikes tho, it would tear the bark on young trees to easily imo

  18. no its just held buy your own pressure, whats it called? just dont look safe to me.... does it get looser if you take gthe pressure off?
  19. i would suggest a very very light thin to maybe encourage some new growth, but other than that let it grow older in grace, i love i knarled twisted up tree,

    whats a laquer tree look like? i work for a company who did a insurance job and the insurance people mis-idented it!!!! was related to rhus typhinia from what i was told........

    254's aree beasts, it was my first saw at a company, it was 5th hand and still went like a trooper!!!
  22. not one of the best ways to make friends in the arb industry!!!!!! it is a way of doing things but surely it would be best to be same priced but the better climber????? imo only a crap climber would underprice to get work!!!!
