  1. They are very popular trucks here in the states. There is a huge demand for them because of the reliable engine. I have two, one single wheel, and one dual wheel with aluminum flatbed. Just put the ali flatbed on the truck, and will build a ali chip box this winter when things slow down. I just picked up this rear mount bucket truck too, nice and short, 60 foot working height. It's a beast!
  2. Just replying to this thread so I don't lose it. Some good ideas.
  3. To me there is no such thing as tree work without a mini loader. I myself would quit tree work cold turkey if I had to get rid of it. It's my three right hand men, that sips fuel. Nice pics!
  4. My PC won't pull the link, ill try a different computer. Thanks guys.
  5. Looks great, Dean. I'm interested in the hinges on the tailgate, can you take a closer pic?
  6. I wasn't able to purchase a set at the show, or barely make an appearance. When/where can I find them online for purchase in the states?
  7. And will they be available for purchase at TCI in Hartford?
  8. Does the PTT muff only work with the midland radios?
  9. I love a good looking log pile. Unfortunately mine got a bit out of order, looks messy right now. I see a warm winter for my hunny and I.
  10. That's great. Around here, tracked chippers are scarce. Doesn't stop me either though!
  11. I need a favor from someone who owns a Farma loader. Can you look on the side of the control valve bank, on the small tag, and tell me what brand it is? It should be on the left side of the valve bank. Thanks.
  12. I bought two steel rings, and I splice whatever size I want with hard lay Samson 3-strand. Easy splice, nice stiff feel, and cheap!
  13. I know those bulk firewood bags seem to be popular over there, does anyone know a source for them in the states?
  14. I set by eye. Place the flat file across the top, eye it up to a dimes thickness (not like you have those over there) and file the rest to match. Never had issues.
  15. I've been really happy using this system the last 3-4 years. I hated the movement and noise/cross loading with having two biners terminating to my saddle. This eliminated the cross loading, and works flawlessly. Would be better with splices but I don't care for them.
  16. I felt like I was working through one of your guys pictures today, reduction on two Magnolia's, and a Land Rover in the states.
  17. Haven't been around here in a while, been busy banging out work before the new years. Here's a new vid, nothing ground breaking, just a little something I wanted to put together for my website. Also a new toy I thought you guys might enjoy. [ame] [/ame] [ame] [/ame]
  18. I've ran a 32" on a 460 twice. It got the job done, although I wouldn't do it all the time. Typically it will wear a 20". Maybe find a spot in the middle and cut from both sides. I just don't do enough big work to justify a bigger saw.
  19. Thanks. I'm getting image upload failed on a couple other sites.
  20. I've been having problems uploading on few other sites. Giving this a try. Maple TD from last week.
  21. I've got two, a 10' and a 16'. Excellent for pruning and shaping ornamentals. It's awesome to stick them inside the tree. They do feel a bit scary at times, especially at the top of the 16', at that point your head's at about 20'. Great tool.
