  1. So just tie a knot in your climb line just like you are retrieving it, but then just tie the throw line onto that same end?
  2. I'm wondering, but can't quite picture it here in my head. Is there a way to have a controlled decent on the friction saver after your done with it when you go to pull it out of the tree? Can you do it without tying on the throw line while your up there? Might be a dumb question, but I just can't picture it. Thanks.
  3. Deva, Are you doing any work on your own these days? I knew at the TH you were talking about it a while ago.
  4. You work some big trees. I liked the GRCS lift. Nice vid!
  5. Huge tree. Nice work.
  6. I am fascinated by some of the trucks/chippers you guys have over there. Post up some pics of your stuff! Here's mine in the US. Ford F350, Woodsman 730X, Thomas 25G
  7. I don't know how you guys measure them over there, but in the U.S. the general consensus is that a yard of wood chip 3'x3'x3' (27cu/ft) is around 500-550lbs.
  8. The Blakes is great for a double tie in using the end of your line...otherwise I'm on this...

  11. I think Baileys has 'em for the US fellows.
  12. Todays tree. Had an interesting get up with a squirrel. Toook out my last top and I heard a thump on the chipper. Looked down to see him slammed on the chute, twitching. He eventually ran off a little bruised after holding onto a wire for a lil bit.
  13. Heres the tree rig, and the daily driver yota.
  14. Work positioning lanyard, saw lanyard, Zubat, non lock biner for attaching big saw handle to lanyard, extra climbing biner for a quick double crotch with end of rope. Sometimes a small pulley on a loop for rigging redirect.
