  8. we have had to PAY for them to do this think it was £150 plus £50 per hour not sure but deff £50 per hour and he stayed on site all day but think we were only booked hours he had to work also been charged for repairing broken lines

  10. where are you based sir as others have said someone could possibly help out with a bit of ppe and saw i would either buy stihl or husky but must be 15 inch bar or under the lighter the better for learning husky any upto 353 but i would get a 346 stihl upto 341 but a 230 or 260 fine personally if you can afford new i would buy new so it all works fine on course ect and you can always sell later climbing kit is a minefield try to find out if you can use colledges or try to find someone to either let you have a go or give you some advice as on here your head will explode with folks views on climbing kit or decide where your buying from and use there advice hope that helps rather than confuses

    paper toss is fav at moment FS5 Hockey is good facebook is good Accuweather is best imo for forecasts and hourly updates pac man always a classic touch4 basically connect 4 cool tower is ok little building game KNOT Guide is ok checkers draughts so ok festive kit really funny and good for a laugh in pub shotgun handy level basically a spirit level convert units is handy labyrinth really good a must get line up is good Toobz is good maze is good and christmas would not be complete without an ADVENT CALENDAR

  17. struggling to see why i dont like it can not see tails on prussick cord think prussick cord will damage webbing? not a fan of crabs inc in a cambium saver as out of sight and had some side load and 1 fail not saying i would not use it but would not cobble one together of my own:blushing: sorry

  19. sorry to rub it in we have 3 small rigging kits 1 midweight and 2 serious ones inc a grcs although i do believe we are one of the better and luckier councils it,s been hard fought for 8 out of 10 have there 41 and the other 2 are new guys within 6 months have done 30 31 38 39 and going through 32 and 34 soon at the end of the day if your not qualified your not supposed to do it unless under supervision read the basics of working at height regs ALL work at height should be planned and supervised

    i personally think they are worth the extra although beware the 0.7m one does not have the adjustable ring and the 1m is about £18 more but the normal ones inc the stien are pretty good for the money

  25. depends whats in it and what you do with it looks like could be nice bowl wood# but only when prepared and dry p.si would like it:thumbup:
