  3. Machines - ProEdge Sharpening System - Sharpening Cheaper elsewhere but I used to use a grinder and moved to this and results are better by a lot imo I would not go back It's a lot of money but it truly helps and gives better results

  6. Work out what you need a day then base that on what what the customer wants Some I do take 2 mins per tree some an hr inc paperwork and report So no way to set a fixed rate It's all about mins per tree in my opinion And what the customer wants Though not sure that pti qualifies you or prepares you for this

  11. Next time your down that way have a look at the road and see if the wagons have made a slight track where they run as sometimes trailers are just running on the edges and it can make them crab and snake Hard to explain Hope that made any sense Also was the axle bang on square to trailer we had one that was slightly out and that snaked

    Nissan Cabstar

I have the twin wheel and it's a better ride than my previous single wheeled one I would happily buy another as long as not planning to run a 3 man team regular If so I would go tranny type as just not enough room in cab for 3 all the time. Though ok with 3 occasionally.
  13. Nice one Will look forward to what you think of them Wish I got gifts like that
  14. I would say no is the official answer Certainly the cs one can not work or rescue on anything other than trees so would of not thought irata officially allowed to work on trees and methods for installing system irate world is so different and from memory a level 1 irate does not do rescue anyhow. Although the main requirement is that they are competent to carry out rescue rather than qualified How you justify that is up to you but level 1 is not a reque qual unless it's changed since I did mine. Hope that helped and made some sort of sense.
  15. Who was selling them as not been released yet? Available from July 15th on hoax website
  16. I have a few old chipper blades of varying sizes (bigger mainly) Presume they would make nice knives though a lot of work to get to right width I would imagine. Shame as seems a shame to scrap them.
  17. Not proud of it I like candy crush Only get 5 lives and helps me wind down as needs concentration

    Desk magnifier

    Cheers
  20. Anyone got a big magnifier with light similar type to this ? 11W Folding Desk Magnifying Lamp 5&8 Dioptre Magnification Magnifier Reading Bit reluctant to buy without either seeing or a recommendation For other things I do but think it may help with Loler and the ever decreasing numbers on carabiners
  21. The 2 on the rest are led with magnets and use them behind the tool rest when hollowing or doing detail work Some times I have all the lights on but often just select the ones I need
  22. Always awkward Presumably you know the person which makes it worse.. I did one last year out of a wide plank but it was very uneven and ended up with 8 hrs. I always think what's my hrly rate What's it cost me then gulp no way dare I charge that so give it away rather than work for £2 per hr😭
  23. Look at this on eBay Oak wooden dowels 9.5mm - 50.8mm x 350mm. Made in UK. Cheapest on Ebay. Sent from my iPad
