  1. same on its 6th or 7th chain, very little ware, only one fault there is no way oregan flat files will dress the bar:lol: has to be the cordless when i get home:thumbup1:

  6. the chainbrake handle on my 341 broke/shaped, got a new one, striped the saw removed the old one, which was easy as it was in two, but there is no way the new one will go on:blushing: what am i missing?
  7. beline, the 10 mm not the 8mm. yes there would be some movement with a thimble, but beside a better bend radious i cant see any advantage, keep the money in your pocket

  11. short answer, very little if any chain saw protection. i think most gloves are class 0 (16m/s) so ok on a small electric saw!

  16. i got my last bridge from noddy @ treeworker. you dont need any tags realy, (all thought it does make it easer)as long as you can say its this harness that i have the paper work for and its i.d is the red and blue cable tie on the ....
  17. show me the regulations says i have to undo the chin strap (thus making it less safe) the petzl helmits exceed EN397 which is the requirment for your normal helmit, which if fitted with a chin strap only stops it blowing off in the wind lol
  18. the bridge is replaceable thats why it has its own I.D.
  19. used to live on a boat 400M down the cannal from the lock you can see in the background. there's no way that anything that big should have gone down that part of the tow path. there is no edge pileing(?) along there.

  21. so i have been wareing a peztl working up a tree then when i get to the ground i have to undo the chin stap to continue to use it on the ground!!! you can use petzl hemits for ground work,end of. some people even use them underground when doing rescues! sorry not quite right you cant use the vented ones near power lines or in foundries
  22. sorry for the derail, but the service life of a dragonfly 2 is up to ten years, hate lazey loler inspectors who just say its older than five years, bin it, without checking what the Manufacture say about thier own kit, they should know sorry rant over:blushing:
