  1. I doubt that anyone but GreenMech will have one on the shelf! Send the serial number and pictures to Jase at GreenMech, [email protected] Balmers at Wakefield should be able to do the fix as quick and easy as anyone. Ring them on 01924 679400, John Hobbs is the Service Manager.
  2. There was one on fleabay the other day and I know of two that were pinched in Birmingham over Christmas - if you are not at all sure about a deal, ring me and I'll check the original build notes. Have a look at the GreenMech Owners facebook page and ask the question there too.
  3. Not looked at the web page but is the Rock machinery made?
  4. Second that! I got one from the missus for fancying about in locking gates, unloading trailers etc!
  5. CNN now, pro Trump protesters storm the Capital building!

    Jag S-Type

So many modern cars have horror stories attached, mainly because of electrical issues but also not designed with the DIY people etc. I don't think they are a pretty car but well engineered, comfortable and capable! Go for it!
  7. Have a thought on the direction that you would wish to go, in terms of the type of work you would wish do? Get some qualifications in that field, try and latch on to such threads in forums, groups and governing bodies to gain some knowledge of that field and go for it! Go for railways, overhead lines, roads and rivers, government etc. Or just stay local and private/domestic customers! Think on other avenues such as landscaping, fences, grass or logs.... Very best wishes going forward!
  8. Takes some skills to bend it that stylee! Top marks my man, top marks!
  9. Our Combi 200 is indeed a chipper with a huge flywheel, massive infeed rollers and conveyor for that knotty, nawlward brash etc. If you do put dirty stuff through it, it will dull the blades, but then, our disc blades are cheap enough to be able to do this. One thing that does need research and careful consideration is the stuff you process has to be clean, namely, no paint or oil or other similar stuff to be recycled and burnt according to some stuff I read some time ago!

    Merry Xmas

Finally in bed, Best wishes to all of you!
  11. Who set the seed for these replies?
  12. Some dealers might have stock, try ringing around a few. Think we got a couple of self isolating and a positive or two plus I had heard of a stock take!
  13. Then there was the AgriRover, anyone got one?
  14. I have seen it done, wider wheels with grass tyres just used off road use. Not sure if they were for road use though - incorrect speed rating etc.
  15. Easier to four sheets of OSB and use those rather than fanny about with back space, stud patterns and wheel arches?
  16. We often overlook where the chipper has to be on a trailer to get the ideal nose weight for towing. To me, that Black TW is too far forward - too much weight in front of the trailer wheels - to be be balanced.
  17. Dan, Tom Balmer at Balmers GM in Burnley has a 7yo ex Environment Agency unit going. I doubt that this did much work in its life. Shall I txt you his number?
  18. Jase just told me that it is not a Kubota! Sorry....
  19. Go to any kubota dealer, groundcare, digger or tractor. They will have them on the shelf at half decent price!
  20. Good used Eco TMP units are as rare as hen's teeth! Andy told me that you were looking to change....
  21. Looks like that may be an issue with the positive feed into the fuse box under the bonnet. The AA chap has seen 4 recently and the garage has done 2 recently. Corrosion in the contacts, melting the plastic box etc or just an intermittent loss of power etc. An hours labour and circa £110 for a new box, plus the inconvenience!
  22. Turns 3 and done 103k soon. Getting bored by it tbh......
  23. Well bugger me. Gone outside to go to the garage and it won't work! AA called....
  24. Four times recently, my Ranger has switched itself off in straight and level flight, twice recently there has been nothing on the key when I've gone to start it - 30 mins later, it started no bother! Its in the garage today - any bets that the battery or alternator is found to be faulty when they both tested 100% by the AA?
  25. I reckon Harry Bavin at B&B Tree Specialists in Lincoln have this.
