  1. Someone said I have a form of dispraxia (?)... I can remember some stuff with absolute clarity yet other details are lost within seconds! I rely on diary prompts to remind me of birthdays, I cannot remember postcodes from looking them up to swapping screens to the maps, I've never remembered what shifts my son is working and keep a GreenMech price list with me at all times! I think I will be a nightmare later on too, but we all have faults......it is called "character ".
  2. My old log bench was a twin cylinder, it would start reasonably easy without the decompression a8d if you had the knack! Some cold winter months we would put a fire underneath it to warm her up a tad....
  3. I fetched a bucket of fresh water mussels out of The Ouse near Huntingdon years back, cooked them with a white wine and garlic sauce. They tasted of muddy river water and were vile! I only ate the one.....
  4. No more engines left! On to the Evo205 now! Had independent folk say that it out chips other makes and is likely toget to the same spots as the SureTrak19288!
  5. Carmarthen is fairly West Wales to be honest. You done right (in my opinion) in advertising on here as a free tip site. But why asking for free stuff? Are you after chips to heat something once they dried out enough or something to plough in to improve the soil?
  6. Global Sales on Warstock Road are an Arb focused dealer, they are GreenMech dealers but were TW years ago. It does sound like the splines in the roller have gone, happens with age....
  7. Where us the client based?
  8. Try talking to the talking importer, DJB Machinery?
  9. Liam Webb at Maple Trees in Nottingham would also quot to chip, chip and remove or possibly just remove with walking floor unit.
  10. Not a bad suggestion. Have you considered that it can tip the load it is rated too and your loads are too much for it? A lot of 3500kg trucks cannot carry a great deal tbh.
  11. The PX unit awaiting transport is towed. Sorry, I didn't mean that had one for sale, but one I could photograph parts for you as a comparison...
  12. The linkage to a spool valve could be available off the shelf from T H Whites, the importer, or through one of their sub dealers. I got a PX 530 outside the house if you need specific pictures?
  13. I know what you mean about the slope! It was done so that they could fit a top bar which was cheaper to make, and easier to set up and less chance of a 'nuisance' trip of the bottom bar. But that slope does mean extra work collecting up all the sticks etc! I would check the mounting area and if they look compatible, ring around to see if anything is being scrapped, and acquire a new chute/flap and bar. Otherwise, it might just be the time to rid yourself of it and the hassle and buy one that is suitable equipped already!
  14. Got to admit, back in the day of my treework, I had got to the point of never considering a 3500 truck! Cannot carry enough legally and it was a worry as the employer! Transits etc can carry bugger all!
  15. Hmm. I seen a several over the years. Cost/benefits ratio will tell you that expectations and reality are vastly different. 'Yard' machines mean that trucks are bringing rubbish to the yard to be processed which costs.....bums on seats, fuel, small loads etc.....then there is disposal costs, are you filling skips that cannot go to burn or are they going to costly landfill? That kind of disposal is a cost per tonne equation before an ethical cost, so landfill costs are met instead....
  16. You could probably knock it out with a set of live line rods to be fair!
  17. I was against getting our GSD done, and felt that it was an unnecessary expense as well as harm. But, on reflection, I don't have to walk him, chase him down when he has escaped or worry about him turning into a leg humper! We were never going to breed with him and he has a gentle streak in him so they went. I'm sorry, but, I know feel that she is right and that unless these pets are to be bred, get them neutered or spade as soon as possible....
  18. Measure the depth of both pulleys and take the old belts to a belt supplier, they should be able to use their experience to gauge the belts and supply a matched pair.
  19. Last time I went to the chemist for 'a big pot of vaseline ', I felt she gave me a filthy look, so I had to explain that it was it fill a pump to get it to suck better, I was digging a whole new hole and left with my purchase and reddened cheeks.....
  20. Try the TW tech spot on this forum?
  21. If it is mainly woody waste from hedges etc, try GreenMech Combi 200, petrolatum but diesel Tier5 once the program is sorted...
  22. The Returnees have appeared in North Nottinghamshire at my partners spot! They were first seem last week! Skylarks in the fields too...
  23. 1st pic is grey fergie tractor!
  24. Bigger diesels with DPF etc require good quality fuel, quality service items and intervals by the book. Which some people struggle with. I get what you are saying Mick, and do agree. But we can only fit what is available and suits the package.
  25. Unfortunately, if you want to buy a Tier 5 diesel, in a sub 750kg unit, it will not be quite as good as its predecessor. Close, but not quite...... Accept that they are here to stay and designed to be better for the environment. Adjust you prices slightly to accommodate a slightly slower process and get on with your life. It will take time to adjust, but, you will, as will everyone else in time who has a similar unit!
