  1. I'm in the "water only" camp. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or soup! Coffee jar was pre mixed ratio of two spoons of sugar, two of dried milk and one instant coffee! Stood overnight on Friday with boiling water and a squirt of lemon juice to clear out the effects of hard water. Otherwise, empty without the lid. I preferred the flasks with steel liner rather than glass and it was pre warmed before filling too. Everyday for 17 years!
  2. A couple of years back, my missus was thinking of a buy to let mid terrace. But the survey noted that there was an invasive plant growing in the rear gardens of the row and that killed the sale. The vendor refused to tackle the problem and a mortgage was politely refused. On another property which she then brought, within days, the rear chimney started to collapse. All parties refused to get involved and it cost us dearly to put it right. I lost faith in solicitors, estate agents, sellers, surveyors, developers and builders to the point that I question everything and am suspicious of the whole spineless lot!

    Jokes???

  4. Having had County Transits and Iveco 3500kg trucks, I would say that off road, they aren't up to much and on road is a serious compromise too! The likes of Ranger, Defender, Hilux etc might be okay as asingle cab as long as you understand that they don't carry much and crewcabs are seriously compromised as a load carrier!
  5. Perhaps the settings for the No Stress device have been set wrong on your Jensen? Bring up the bottom figure to keep the thing highly revved?
  6. Tbh, we sold loads of 25hp x 6" units over the years, top seller in parts of Europe and our 165 was designed using the Tier 5 version of the 1505 and mated to a suitable rotor works damn well!
  7. Ooph! Didn't it work well on the demo?

Hmm. I removed one wheel after a blow out and the studs turned in the drum! Empty trailer and it was dark and it was only 90 miles home!
  10. Just about any tree job is a fairly swift affair, so just a short lived disruption. Tell them to 'man up' until the job is done! Job has to be done, omelette and eggs etc!
  11. Vass' and Rocket Site at Misson! Used to gaze longingly at their offerings and stocklists and then their webpages!
  12. Cucumber and peanut butter butty!

  14. My Bedford MK 4X4, I ran this for a couple of years then sent it off for a crane to be fitted and a sub frame or body to have the spades on blah blah blah. That was in 1997 and the picture was taken roughly 2010! I started working for GreenMech in 1998 and told the lad doing the work that he could have it! He left it for me to collect when I'm able!
  15. Just doing Chicken Jambalaya which is good and not too much messing!
