  1. Left Chania in 32 with clear sky. The wait in the breeze was like being in front of an open fan oven! Landed at EMA to drizzle and 16. Body clock all wrong too. Off to help Bonus Daughter with horse then to Retford before home to hear how Tom and Bad Apple Racing did at Pod. Heating on too! Not get a chance to post tomorrow but have a good day all!
  2. €3.90 and did the job!
  3. Bit of a late one and didn't sleep well as it was last night here! Driving back across the island in a bit, home soon after 16:00. Check out the road up to the top of Imbros on Google Maps! Justin, Thyme. Saved the rest of the crosswords for the flight.
  4. Tea is brewing, crossword started. Last full day here until next time. Yule, Navarre, Wall, Cologne.
  5. Last day in paradise, will sit on the beach with a crossword or two, make a few rock stacks, stand in the sea admiring the view, watch the Vultures gain height to cross the mountains and think about what to eat for supper! Yule, Navarre, Wall, Cologne.
  6. It is a fuel issue. Clean the tank, blow out the fuel lines, change the filters and even remove the mechanical fuel pump and carefully clean that too!
  7. Up and having a mug of Yorkshire's finest while looking out over the sea - flat as a dish! Xray this morning to determine if a got broken bone or some other issue! Foil, Swore.
  8. My lad is off to Santa Pod until Sunday night, crewing for Bad Apple Racing. He started to clear up in my garage before I left to make space for my new toy car. That means that all my pottering projects will be tidied away and benches clear and all the tools put back where they belong. It took me years to get it to that state of advanced pottered, I'll never be able to find anything now either!
  9. Morning All. Forced to go to Doctor in next town as I can barely put weight on it and sleep is hard to come by! Otherwise, weather here looks good. Queue, Brute.
  10. Agony, all dayband all night. Can't put ball of foot down!
  11. She thinks I got ghout!
  12. Another day at 30 here, actually had some rain yesterday too. Had a calamity mind, think I broken my toe! Sore as a sore thing now and will struggle to walk on it! Cue, Bun, Heals.
  13. Morning All. Not a cloud in the sky and projected 30+ here again! Fare, Eat, Ails.

    Tax tax tax

I got a car, a toy car. Yes, they will tax it and yes, the environmental people will scream out loud but I'm making memories! You cannot take those away!
  15. Morning All. Struggling with the aircon unit to get a decent night's sleep - does mean I have a snore on the beach though! Cherry, Mandarin.
  16. Pickled beanie things in a little olive oil?
  17. Mythos is Gluten free we found out!
  18. Post a beer picture all those imbibing!
  19. Morning Team. Another day in paradise here! Topped, Holler.
  20. Morning Team. Major trauma to endure yesterday. Left lights on in the rental, battery flat. Had to walk 75 paces to nearest beach until Theo can home with leads! The things we endure! Enjoy your Friday! Redeem, Eels.
  21. Morning All, earthquake in Crete yesterday evening, no beer taps affected! Bore, Sun, Over.
  22. I thought that if I had the kind of estate run with a Farm 2000 bail burner type affair, I'd have a branch logger and a load of suitable hessian sacks. They'd be stored until dry enough to burn and would get chucked in the bail burner! Otherwise, the quality of the logs poor and the length wrong for open fires etc.
  23. Morning All, another tough day on the beach! 29 driving back from Taverna at 23:00! Pretty well no light pollution too! Will add picture when able. Newport, Hater.
  24. Warm night here to, aircon set to 26 and is was constantly going off! Dam, Ass, Crows.
